Familia Schio - Rivas Ecopolis 79-75
Familia Schio edge Rivas Ecopolis in overtime in one of the most interesting series of the EuroLeague. The Italian team grabbed last ticket to Ekaterinburg after a 79:75 victory. Rivas Ecopolis looked better in the first period and led 19-13. Familia Schio bounced back with 22-12 in the second period, while Rivas Ecopolis again won the third period and had 3-point advantage after 30 minutes. The host posted however an 18-15 rally and tied the game at the end of the fourth period. Familia Schio won overtime 12-8 as Sottana made it 74:69 that eventually killed off the Spanish side. It was a good game for Laura Macchi (188-F-79) who led her team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Jantel Lavender (190-C-88, college: Ohio St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Olexandra Kurasova (186-F-86) answered with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Anna Cruz (173-PG-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Rivas Ecopolis. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Bourges - Wisla Can-Pak 66-59
Bourges finishes strong against Wisla to enter the Final Eight of the EuroLeague. The French side won 66:59 and celebrated 2-1 win in the series. It looked good early as Wisla Can-Pak took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Bourges took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 7 points. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Bourges outrebounded Wisla Can-Pak 46-33 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-PF-88) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Celine Dumerc helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Bourges players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Tina Charles (193-C-88, agency: LBM Management, college: Connecticut) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and forward Justyna Zurowska (188-F-85) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds.

Fenerbahce - Avenida 87-80 Fenerbahce outscored Avenida in the decider and reached the semifinal stage. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-80. Fenerbahce looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Avenida - Fenerbahce 76-66 Avenida rolled past Fenerbahce to force the decider. The game was mostly controlled by Perfumerias Avenida. Fenerbahce managed to win fourth quarter 21-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Perfumerias Avenida made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Nneka Ogwumike (189-F/C-90, college: Stanford) of Dynamo Kursk (Russia) was selected as the MVP of February by eurobasket.com. American center who also holds Nigerian passport, led her team to 7 victories last month while averaging 12.6 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 2.9 apg, 0.3 bpg, 2FGP: 52.9%, 3PT: 35.3%, FT: 80.0%.
