Carlos
Arroyo
Galatasaray Istanbul keep Puerto Rican Carlos Arroyo (188-PG-79, agency: Interperformances, college: FIU). In 27 TBL games he had 13.3ppg, 2.9rpg and 4.3apg. He helped them to win the league title and they also made it to the cup final. A very impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Import Player of the Year, Guard of the Year and named to 1st Team.
The previous season Arroyo played at Besiktas. In 27 games he recorded 14.7ppg, 2.5rpg and 4.4apg that season. He contributed to his team winning the cup. Quite impressive season as he was named to Turkish League All-Star Game. Arroyo also played 9 games in EuroChallenge where he recorded 10.7ppg, 2.0rpg and 3.6apg.
He ended the previous (10-11) season at the Celtics in NBA. In fifteen games he recorded just 2.4ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.7apg. But the most of that year Arroyo spent at the Heat in NBA. In 49 games he recorded 5.6ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.0apg.
The former Florida International University star is in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. Carlos Arroyo also represented Puerto Rico at the Olympic Games Additional Qualifying Round in Caracas (Venezuela) last year. His stats at that event were 3 games: 9.3ppg, 1.3rpg, 4.7apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 47.4%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 33.3%.
He has played also professionally in Israel (Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv), Spain, NBA (Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat and Orlando Magic) and Puerto Rico (Cangrejeros).

The Slovenian guard sustained an injury in the Italian League game between his team and Caserta yesterday and today's examination revealed the full extent of the damage. Dragic's condition will be re-evaluated in the upcoming days to determine the most appropriate therapy for his recovery, as the club mentions. He'll most likely miss the remainder of the season since a surge...   [read more]

Belgrade ANGT Breakdown - 1 day ago
Source: www.doubledouble.rs/en/ Crvena Zvezda reached 7th consecutive title at Belgrade ANGT 2017 with easy win vs. Mega Bemax 74-61. Red shirted guys got their job done in 1st quarter with 28-8 scoring run. Basketball presented at Belgrade ANGT 2017 was not at some impressive level, despite my expectations before the tournament. Many teams here have shown only bit above average qualities, while Mega Bemax and Crvena Zvezda were far ahead of all the opponents. Top names breakdown Al...   [read more]
