   Spartak Moscow won Euroleague !!!!
Spartak Moscow Region won the most important trophy in women club basketball in Europe - Euroleague Championship. They defeated on the home court Ros Casares Valencia 76-62. Spartak was lead by their two imports Diana Taurasi (180-G-82, college: Connecticut) and Tina Thompson (188-F-75, college: USC), who controlled the game from the first minutes. Thompson was voted MVP of the Final Four where she scored 24 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Interesting that Spartak is not even the leader in domestic league as together with Dynamo Moscow is placed second after CSKA Moscow. Spartak surprisingly defeated CSKA in the Euroleague semifinals 90-76. The game was opportunity for two Polish international to face each other, despite no Polish team advanced to the Final Four. Agnieszka Bibrzycka (184-F/G-82, college: Abilene Christian) of Spartak celebrated the victory over Malgorzata Dydek (213-C-74) of Ros Casares.
