United Kingdom - Germany 63-66
Germany grabbed 66-63 thriller win against United Kingdom in the Big Final of U16 Eurobasket Division B in Arad. Germany won the Gold and this event, while Silver belongs to UK. Both teams earned a promotion for Division A, where they will compete next year. Ama Degbeon (183-F-95) led Germany in scoring with 17 points. Noemie Rouault (180-F-95) had 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Emma lina Stach (175-PG-96) helped with 12 points and 6 assists. In the loosing squad, Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott (183-PG-95) was much better than the others with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Leah McDerment (180-PG-96) (5 as) and Cheridene Green (187-C-95) scored 13 and 12 points respectively. It was a very exciting game until the end. UK had the last possession, but they missed for 3-pts. Quarters: 15-20, 14-16, 16-16, 18-14.

Places 3-4
Latvia - Bulgaria 84-52
Latvia won the Bronze at the U16 EuroBasket Division B. They outplayed Bulgaria 84-52 in the last day of the competition to win third place. Bulgaria ended as No.4 and stays without the medal. Katrina Visnevica (171-G-95) came up with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Kitija Laksa (180-G-96) had 18 points and 6 boards, while Kate Kreslina (178-PG-96) helped with 10 points. Borislava Hristova (180-F-96) shined in defeat with 28 points and 6 boards. Yana Jekova (172-G/F-96) was their second scorer with only 6 pts. Quarters: 20-11, 18-11, 22-20, 24-10. Germany won the Gold in Arad. They grabbed 66-63 victory against UK in the Finals.

Lithuania - Ukraine 83-68
Lithuania finished as the fifth ranked team of U16 EuroBasket Division B in Arad. They outplayed Ukraine 83-68 in the last day of the competition to take this spot. Of course, Ukraine ended as No.6 at this event. Austeja Sirsinaityte (164-PG-95) (6 as) and Simona Baciulyte (172-G-95) led the winners with 19 points each. Dalia Belickaite (175-F-96) secured a great help adding 16 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. In the loosing squad, Nataliya Skorbatyuk (183-F-95) top-scored with 22 points. Oksana Batrakova (186-C-95) shined with 17 points and 15 boards. Quarters: 16-21, 31-13, 17-18, 19-16. Germany won the Gold in Arad. They beat Belgium 66-63 in the Big Final.

Romania - Portugal 54-62
Portugal was too strong for Romania 62-54 in the last day of U16 EuroBasket Division B in Arad. Thanks to this win Portugal ended as No.7 of this event. The host Romania finished as No.8. Laura Ferreira (177-G-95) (6 rebs) and Joana Soeiro (170-PG-95) led the winners with 15 points each. Mafalda Pereira (180-F-95) followed her with 13 points and 6 rebounds. In the loosing squad, Paula Lenart (178-F-96) was better than the others with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Bianca Blanaru (193-C-95) had 11 points and 10 boards. Quarters: 13-19, 13-16, 11-13, 17-14. Germany won the Gold in Arad. They grabbed 66-63 win against Belgium in the Big Final.

Slovenia - Estonia 59-45
Slovenia was better than Estonia 59-45 in the last day of U16 EuroBasket Division B in Arad. Thanks to this win Slovenia ended as No.9 at this event. Estonia finished as tenth ranked team. Eva Lisec (191-C-95) top-scored in Slovenia with 13 points. Larisa Ocvirk (184-F-97) and Anja Valentincic (181-F-95) helped with 12 points and 8 rebounds each. In defeat, Trine Kasemagi (190-C-95) had 19 points and 9 rebounds. Their second scorer was Marie Roosalu (177-F-96) (8 rebs) with 7 points. Quarters: 13-11, 15-11, 21-10, 10-13. Germany won the Gold in Arad. They grabbed 66-63 win against Belgium in the Big Final.

Switzerland - Denmark 60-70
Denmark celebrated 70-60 win against Switzerland in the last day of U16 EuroBasket Division B in Arad. Thanks to this win Denmark finished as No.11 of this event. Switzerland ended as twelfth ranked team. Sofie Preetzmann (180-G-95) stepped up in Denmark with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Frederikke Mollerup (177-G-95) had 16 points and 6 rebounds, while Julie Hoeier (185-C-95) added 10 points, plus 11 boards. In the loosing squad, Dijana Milenkovic (180-F-96) delivered 27 points. Tiffanie Zali (182-F-95) had 14 points and 8 rebs. Quarters: 22-22, 18-14, 8-17, 12-17. Germany won the Gold in Arad. They grabbed 66-63 win against United Kingdom in the Big Final.

Luxembourg - Ireland 60-45
Luxembourg was better than Ireland 60-45 in the last day of U16 EuroBasket in Arad. Thanks to this win Luxembourg avoided last place at this event ending it as No.14. Luxembourg made 3-1 record in Group G, while Ireland ended with poor 0-4. Mia Pauly (176-F-96) came up with 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Charlie Bidinger (167-G-95) scored 10 points, while Alexa Sanelli (174-F-95) added 8 pts. In defeat, Jennifer Sheehan (170-PG-95) delivered 11 points. Their second scorer was Samantha Massey (178-C-95) with 9 pts. Quarters: 10-13, 6-13, 28-6, 16-13. Germany won the Gold in Arad. They grabbed 69-66 win against UK.

Group A Portugal - Bulgaria 86-45 Portugal eased past Bulgaria for the opening win in Group A. Sara Guerreiro (176-G-01) posted 21 points and 7 steals to lead the charge. Portugal accumulated a 41:22 halftime lead. They went on a 33:10 run in the third term to clear off for good. Ana Faustino (166-G-01) netted 14 points in the victory. Group A Bulgaria - Finland 41-87 Finland cruised past Bulgaria for the opening win at the tournament. Awak Kuier (194-C-01) tallied 25 points, 20 rebounds and 9 blocks for the winners.
