It is already clear that Greece will continue in Classification Round after this phase. At the other side, Sweden dropped to 0-4 and they lost all chances to reach the next stage. Denisa Blanarova (184-F/C-97) led the winners with 12 points and Miroslava Mistinova (182-F-97) added 11 pts, plus 5 rebs. Veronika Remenarova (185-F-97) followed with double-double of 10 pts and 11 boards. In Sweden, Anna Lundqvist (176-G-96) answered with 10 pts and 11 rebs. Sigrid Sandstrom (177-G-96) stopped to 9 pts and 6 rebs in this defeat. Slovakia was up by 19 with ten minutes remaining in the game. Sweden drastically improved in Q4 (9-20), but it was too late for them. In the last day of the Qualifying Round, Slovakia will meet Hungary in crucial game for third place. Spain - Croatia 65-50 Spain was too strong for Croatia today in Miskolc 65-50. Croatia made 9-13 in the first ten minutes of the game, but it was all from them. Spain took control on its rival for rest of the way to celebrate comfortable win (9-13, 18-8, 19-17, 19-12). Spain now has 3-1 record in the Qualifying Group F and already booked a ticket for the Quarterfinals. They will even fight for the first place in this pool. Croatia has 0-4 now and with no chance to advance. Elena Capella (171-G-96) scored 19 points in victory and Angela Salvadores (175-PG-97) added 15 points, plus 5 rebs. Helena Orts (184-F-96) posted 10 pts and 9 boards. In Croatia, Iva Slonjsak (181-SG-97) was way better than the others with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Their second scorer was Ivana Dojkic (176-SG-97) with 10 pts (6 rebs). Tomorrow, Spain will meet Czech Republic and Croatia will play against Holland.

There is one more day to go at this phase and France will fight for the first place in the group. Their rival will be Italy tomorrow. Holland slipped to 1-3 and failed to reach the next stage, even if they beat Croatia tomorrow. France opened the game in style making 12-point lead in the first ten minutes. They jumped to 35-16 already at the halftime and question about the winners was resolved. Quarters: 19-7, 16-9, 16-16, 19-12. Marie Milapie (191-C-96) paced France with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Belarus - Czech Republic 58-84 Czech Republic knocked down Belarus to victoriously finish their campaign at the championship. Katerina Galickova (178-F-00) provided 14 points in the win. Czech Republic unloaded 35 points in the first period to take a 22-point lead. Czech Republic protected the lead well throughout the reminder of the contest and marched to the win. Anezka Kopecka (181-PF-00) had 11 points in the victory. Ulyana Skiba (167-PG-00) and Yana Haliakova (184-F-1) responded with 11 points each for Belarus.
Latvia - Turkey 56-60 Turkey earned the ninth place at the championship. They beat Latvia in the classification clash. Goksen Fitik (170-SG-1) posted 12 points to lead the winners. Turkey piled up a 35:29 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 12-point mark heading into the fourth frame. Latvia pulled closer in the fourth term but could not avoid the defeat at the end. Fatmanur Karakas (168-SG-1) had 10 points in the victory. Aleksa Gulbe (184-F/C-00) responded with 14 points for Latvia.
Russia - Hungary 63-56 Russia beat Hungary to clinch the 11th position in Udine. Daria Repnikova (180-SG-00) scored 20 points to lead the winners. Hungary grabbed a 12:8 lead ten minutes into the game. But Russia bounced back in the next periods. They posted a 42:37 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Russia sank 21 points in the fourth term to seal the win. Mariia Antoshina (173-PG-00) had 13 points for the winners. Barbara Angyal (173-PG-1) responded with 18 points for Hungary.
Serbia - Portugal 77-74 Serbia eked out a narrow win over Portugal and remained in Division A for the next season. Portugal ensured a 31:25 halftime lead. Serbia however picked up the tempo after the big break. They unloaded 30 points to secure a 9-point lead heading into the fourth term. Portugal unloaded 28 points but could not avoid relegation. Jelena Mitrovic (204-C-1) tallied 23 points and 23 rebounds for Serbia. Nadezda Nedeljkov (171-SG-1) added 17 points for the winners. Raquel Laneiro (165-G-00) responded with 14 points for Portugal.
Sweden - Slovakia 73-49 Sweden wrapped up their campaign in Udine with victory. They cruised past Slovakia to clinch the 15th place. Precious Johnson (189-C-00) nailed 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for the winners. Slovakia grabbed a 22:18 lead after ten minutes. But Sweden limited their opponents to just 27 points in the next three quarters to march to the victory. Patricia Elias (161-PG-00) chipped in 15 points for the wining side. Natalia Senova (172-PG-00) replied with 12 points for Slovakia.
