Spain - Lithuania 74-72
Spain conquered the title in Radom. They snatched a tough victory over Lithuania in the championship game tonight. Carlos Unanue (192-F-00) sank a three-pointer late in regulation to propel Spain to the triumph. Spain secured a 24:20 lead ten minutes into the game. Lithuania pulled within 2 points at the interval 36:34 halftime advantage. Spain stretched the margin at 6-point mark heading into the final quarter. Lithuania denied the deficit late in regulation. Arlauskas put the Baltic side in front 72:71 with 10 seconds left in regulation. But Carlos Unanue responded with a triple to win the game for Spain. Joel Parra (199-F-00) topscored with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the champions. Usman Garuba (200-G-2) had 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks in the victory. Dovydas Giedraitis (185-G-00) responded with 18 points for Lithuania.
3-4 Place
Croatia - Turkey 70-77 OT
Turkey stepped onto the pedestal in Radom. They nipped Croatia in overtime to claim Bronze medals. Eray Akyuz (187-G-00) stepped up with 23 points and 7 steals to lead the winners. Turkey ensured a 36:33 halftime lead. Croatia spurred ahead for a 4-point lead at the third break. But Turkey held their opponents to just 15 points in the fourth frame and forced overtime. Turkey sank 11 points in the extra period and sealed the victory. Yavuz Gultekin (196-F-00) tossed in 14 points for the winners. Luka Samanic (208-C-00) answered with 24 points and 12 rebounds for Croatia.

5-6 Place
Finland - France 79-71
Finland claimed the fifth position in Poland. They wrapped up the campaign with victory over France. Tomas Pihlajamaki (185-G-00) and Janne Lehtoranta (185-G-00) notched 11 points each for the winners. Finland jumped to a 24:17 lead after the first period. France used a strong rally in the next two periods to gain a 5-point advantage. But Finland exploded with 29 points in the final quarter to snatch the victory. Erik Sajantila (193-F/G-1) delivered 10 points for the winners. Babacar Niasse (192-G/F-00) responded with 26 points for les Bleues.

7-8 Place
Italy - Montenegro 81-75
Alvise Sarto (196-F-00) notched 25 points to lead Italy past Montenegro in the clash for the 7th overall position. Montenegro secured a 38:33 halftime lead. But Italy went on a 25:16 rally in the third term to clinch a 4-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. Italy poured in 23 points in the final stanza to seal the win. Federico Miaschi (188-G-00) chipped in 19 points for the Azzurri. Jovan Kijajic responded with 25 points for Montenegro.

9-10 Place
Serbia - Germany 63-65
Germany finished their campaign on a high note. They nipped Serbia to earn the 9th place. Hendrik Drescher (202-C-00) came up with 15 points to pace the winners. Germany eked out a 23:22 halftime lead. They poured in 42 points in the second half to ice the victory. Luc Van Slooten (195-F/G-2) totaled 13 points in the win. Zoran Paunovic (190-G-00) answered with 24 points for Serbia.
11-12 Place
Latvia - Sweden 65-51
Latvia topped Sweden in the classification round game. Adrians Snipke (188-PF-00) chipped in 15 points, collected 9 rebounds and issued 6 assists for the Baltic state. Latvia accumulated a 20:7 lead ten minutes into the game. They held Sweden to just 27 points in the second half to rally to the win. Anrijs Miska (201-F-00) tossed in 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in the victory. Erik Persson (185-G-00) responded with 13 points for Sweden.

13-14 Place
Bosnia - Estonia 59-85
Estonia remained in Division A following a comfortable win over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Henri Drell (198-SF-00) came up with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Estonia grabbed a 43:30 halftime lead. The Baltic team went on a 28:11 run in the third term to clear off for good. Karl Karpin (205-C-00) had 15 points for the winners. Semir Karic (183-PG-00) answered with 12 points for Bosnia.

15-16 Place
Poland - Greece 85-74
Poland edged Greece in the classification round clash. The hosts occupied the 15th position following the win. Sebastian Walda (194-SF-00) posted 23 points to lead the winners. Poland accumulated a 46:35 halftime lead. The hosts sank 39 points in the second half and rallied to the victory. Przemyslaw Golek (195-SF-00) tossed in 21 points for Poland. Konstantinos Altinis (195-F/G-00) responded with 13 points for Greece.

France crowned champions in Podgorica - 2 months ago
FINAL Montenegro - France 68-75 France celebrated title in Podgorica. They upset hosting Montenegro in the championship game today. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) stepped up with 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead les Bleues. France recorded a 28:14 lead after ten minutes. Montenegro worked hard to narrow the deficit at 4-point mark at the final intermission. But France replied with a 19:16 run in the fourth period to capture the trophy.
