Group A
Belgium - Greece 60-77
Greece outgunned Belgium for the second victory in a row in Group A. Nikolaos Rogkavopoulos (202-F-01) delivered 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Hellenes. Greece piled up a 26:8 lead at the first break. They used an 18:11 run in the final period to secure the winning outcome. Dimitrios Klonaras (196-SG-01) had 12 points and 9 boards in the win. Aaron Verstraete (200-SF-01) banked in 14 points for Belgium.

Belarus - Switzerland 74-68
Belarus held off Switzerland to open win count in Sofia. Raman Hests (197-SF-01) delivered 19 points in the victory. Belarus ensured a 29:20 halftime lead. Switzerland unloaded 48 points in the second half but could not avert the defeat. Nikita Matsal (186-G-01) chipped in 16 points for the winners. Kevin Martina (201-SF-01) replied with 20 points for Switzerland.

Iceland - Romania 67-45
Iceland posted the second straight win in Group A. They eased past Romania behind 20 points from Dui Jonsson (178-PG-01). Iceland recorded a 36:24 halftime lead. They followed with a 24:4 run in the third term to clear off for good. Veigar Hlynsson (190-PG-01) had 12 points and 13 rebounds in the victory. Tudor Lungu (185-PG-01) replied with 13 points for Romania.

Group B
Cyprus - Ukraine 46-67
Ukraine claimed the first win in Bulgaria. They knocked down Cyprus for 1-1 record in Group B. Daniil Cherneha (203-PF-01) tallied 11 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Ukraine accumulated a 24:17 halftime lead. Ukraine sank 27 points in the fourth frame to rally to the victory. Ihor Serheiev netted 10 points in the win. Aineas Jung (200-PF-02) had 13 points for Cyprus.

Holland - Poland 69-54
Netherlands shot down Poland to remain undefeated in Bulgaria. Tristan Enaruna (204-PF-01) stepped up with 17 points and 9 caroms for the Dutch team. Netherlands eked out a 31:29 halftime lead. They went on a 21:9 run in the fourth quarter to ice the win. Jamie Bergens (183-PG-01) accounted for 12 points for the winners. Jakub Ulczynski (195-F-02) tossed in 19 points for Poland.

Denmark - Bulgaria 68-77
Bulgaria outgunned Denmark to record the second consecutive win in Group B. Konstantin Kostadinov came up with 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Denmark claimed a 45:41 halftime lead. Bulgaria however replied with a 20:7 rally in the third term to surge ahead. They protected the lead throughout the fourth frame and raced to the victory. Mihail Modlov (01) tossed in 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the win. Andreas Mortensen (186-G-01) had 24 points and 9 boards for Denmark.

Group C
Czech Republic - Bosnia 73-61
Czech Republic held off Bosnia to improve at 2-0 record in Group C. Mikolas Houser (197-SF-01) netted 17 points to lead the winners. The teams were tied at 38 heading into the long break. But Czech Republic limited their opponents to just 23 points in the second half and got away with the win. David Bohm (202-PF-01) and Nikolaos Noumeros netted 16 points each for the winners. Timur Krupalija had 16 points and 21 boards for Bosnia.

Norway - Hungary 51-63
Hungary defeated Norway for the second win in a row in Group C. Peter Filipovity (188-SG-01) chipped in 13 points in the victory. Hungary established a 32:27 halftime lead. They limited Norway to just 24 points in the second half and raced to the victory. Peter Veraszto delivered 10 points in the win. Torkel Westby (185-PG-01) produced 13 points for Norway.

Ireland - Slovakia 54-49
Ireland held off Slovakia for the opening win in Group C. Paul Kelly (186-PG-01) produced 16 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Ireland secured a 35:33 halftime lead. The Irish team held their opponents to just 15 points in the second half and snatched the win. Oluwasanmi Fajana (198-C-01) had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Samuel Horvath and Rastislav Sipkovsky connected for 10 points apiece in the loss.

Group D
Georgia - United Kingdom 58-85
Great Britain cruised past Georgia for the second straight win in Group D. Eric Donaldson (191-SF-01) recorded 17 points to lead the winners. Great Britain trailed by six points at the first break. But they unloaded 58 points in the next two quarters to surge ahead for good. Tomiwa Sulaiman (196-PF-01) had 12 points and 10 boards in the victory. Irakli Sulkhanishvili (195-SG-01) notched 13 points for Georgia.

Luxembourg - Portugal 55-85
Portugal cruised past Luxembourg for the second win in Group D. Afonso Candeias (189-SF-02) accounted for 25 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Portugal claimed a 41:30 halftime advantage. They did not loosen the grasp in the second half and raced to the win. Hugo Ferreira (178-SG-01) had 21 points in the victory. Felix Vlaminck (188-SG-01) provided 16 points for Luxembourg.

Kosovo - FYR Macedonia 61-64
FYR Macedonia clinched the opening win in Bulgaria. They held off Kosovo for 1-1 record in Group D. Andrej Jakimovski (198-SF-01) tossed in 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win. Kosovo registered a 31:29 halftime lead. Kosovo stretched the lead at 4-point mark heading into the fourth frame. But FYR Macedonia used a 19:12 run in the final term to snatch the win. Damjan Boshkovski and Adrian Naumoski (196-SG-01) had 10 points each in the win. Erhan Sholla (197-SF-01) produced 26 points for Kosovo.

France crowned champions in Podgorica - 2 months ago
FINAL Montenegro - France 68-75 France celebrated title in Podgorica. They upset hosting Montenegro in the championship game today. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) stepped up with 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead les Bleues. France recorded a 28:14 lead after ten minutes. Montenegro worked hard to narrow the deficit at 4-point mark at the final intermission. But France replied with a 19:16 run in the fourth period to capture the trophy.
