Group A
Israel - Croatia 67-64
Israel held off Croatia at the start of the championship. Deni Avdija (198-SF-01) and Raziel Hayun (194-SG-01) recorded 16 points each in the victory. Israel enjoyed a 41:32 halftime lead. Croatia pulled as close as 2 points at the final intermission. But Israel held their opponents to just 12 points in the final frame and secured the win. Matej Rudan (204-C-01) finished with 18 points for Croatia.

Lithuania - Serbia 54-56
Serbia nipped Lithuania for the opening win in Group A. Marko Pavicevic (205-PF-01) posted 11 points to lead the winners. Lithuania enjoyed a 31:24 halftime lead. But Serbia used a strong 32:22 second half run to snatch the win. Lazar Zivanovic and Djordje Pazin (200-SF-01) accounted for 9 points each in the victory. Marek Blazevic (206-C-01) had 13 points and 9 boards for Lithuania.

Group B
Slovenia - Finland 65-53
Slovenia outlasted Finland in the first game at the tournament. Gregor Glas (196-G/F-01, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Finland snatched a 34:33 halftime lead. But Slovenia used a furious 21:8 spurt in the third term to take the advantage. They maintained the lead throughout the final term and marched to the win. Rok Radovic had 19 points for the winners. Mustapha Amzil (203-PF-01) tossed in 20 points for Finland.

Turkey - Germany 65-87
Germany outgunned Turkey to open win count in Podgorica. Luc Van Slooten (202-F/G-02) netted 18 points for the winners. Germany unloaded 45 points in the first half to take a 10-point lead. They unleashed 28 points in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Timo Lanmuller (187-PG-01) chipped in 17 points for the winning side. Mustafa Kurtuldum (193-G-01) dropped 13 points for Turkey.

Group C
Estonia - Russia 71-74
Russia narrowly defeated Estonia for the opening win in Podgorica. Dmitrii Kadoshnikov (201-PF-01) finished with 13 points and 10 boards to lead the effort. Russia used a 25:11 run in the second term to open a 13-point lead. Estonia pulled within striking distance in the second half but could not rescue the game eventually. Vladimir Markovich (183-PG-01) and Ivan Belousov (192-SG-01) had 11 points each in the victory. Kerr Kriisa (187-PG-01) posted 30 points for Estonia.

France - Italy 64-59
France held off Italy in the opener. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) and Theo Maledon (192-G-00) delivered 15 points each for les Bleues. France posted a 21:9 lead at the first intermission. France protected the lead throughout the following quarters. They managed to secure a tough win at the end. Timothe Crusol (190-G-01) had 10 points for the winners. Nicolo Mannion (187-PG-01) provided 15 points and 7 assists for the Azzurri.

Group D
Sweden - Montenegro 45-77
Montenegro cruised past Sweden in the opener. Stefan Vlahovic (193-F/G-01) recorded 16 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Montenegro piled up a 39:20 halftime lead and cruised to the win in the second half. Viktor Vujisic (203-F-01) chipped in 13 points for the winners. Pelle Larsson (192-SG-01) notched 11 points for Sweden.

Spain - Latvia 91-70
Spain outgunned Latvia to tip off their tournament's campaign on a winning note. Jaime Pradilla (207-C-01) had 20 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Spain accumulated a 39:27 halftime lead. They unloaded 52 points in the second half to breeze to the win. Golden Dike (207-F-01) had 14 points in the victory. Kristaps Kilps (194-SG-01) netted 23 points for Latvia.

France crowned champions in Podgorica - 2 months ago
FINAL Montenegro - France 68-75 France celebrated title in Podgorica. They upset hosting Montenegro in the championship game today. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) stepped up with 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead les Bleues. France recorded a 28:14 lead after ten minutes. Montenegro worked hard to narrow the deficit at 4-point mark at the final intermission. But France replied with a 19:16 run in the fourth period to capture the trophy.
