Group A
Serbia - Israel 71-79
Israel registered the second straight win in Podgorica. They toppled Serbia behind 18 points from Raziel Hayun (194-SG-01). Israel went on a 24:13 run in the second frame to take a 37:29 halftime lead. Israel used a 24:19 run in the fourth term to seal the win. Deni Avdija (198-SF-01) had 17 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists in the victory. Djordje Pazin (200-SF-01) chipped in 27 points for Serbia.

Croatia - Lithuania 42-63
Lithuania posted the first win in Group A. They fired past Croatia for 1-1 record. Modestas Kancleris (199-F-01) scored 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead the effort. Lithuania recorded a 37:24 halftime lead. They held Croatia to just 18 points in the second half and raced to the victory. Tomas Zubrys (182-PG-01) netted 13 points in the win. Matej Rudan (204-C-01) and Sandro Rasic (190-SG-01) had 9 points each for Croatia.

Group B
Germany - Slovenia 56-68
Slovenia claimed the second straight win in Montenegro. They held off Germany to stay undefeated. Ziga Samar (191-G-01) provided 21 points to lead the charge. Slovenia established a 41:26 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 19-point mark heading into the fourth frame and secured the win at the end. Rok Radovic (198-F/G-01) chipped in 13 points for Slovenia. Radii Caisin (200-F/G-01) banked in 15 points and 10 rebounds for Germany.

Finland - Turkey 73-84
Turkey edged Finland for the opening win in Group B. Mustafa Kurtuldum (193-G-01) netted 19 points in the win. Turkey unloaded 50 points in the first half to secure an 18-point lead. They boosted the gap at 22-point mark heading into the fourth frame and drove to the win. Ismail Karabilen (205-PF-01) had 13 points in the victory. Mustapha Amzil (203-PF-01) had 10 points and 9 boards for Finland.

Group C
Italy - Estonia 70-64
Italy outgunned Estonia to open win count in Podgorica. Sasha Grant (198-SF-02) tallied 17 points and 6 rebounds for the Azzurri. Estonia enjoyed an 18:11 lead ten minutes into the game. But Italy went on a 40:29 run in the next two quarters to spur ahead. They held Estonia to only 17 points in the fourth quarter and raced to the win. Nicolo Mannion (187-PG-01) and Lorenzo Deri (185-PG-01) had 11 points apiece for Italy. Kaspar Lootus (202-F-01) chipped in 12 points for Estonia.

Russia - France 61-63
France narrowly defeated Russia to improve at 2-0 record in Group C. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) stepped up with 18 points for les Bleues. France trailed by six points after ten minutes. They entered the fourth frame down by three points but France went on an 18:13 run in the final term to snatch the victory. Theo Maledon (192-G-00) had 15 points for the winners. Denis Kovalev (192-SG-01) produced 14 points for Russia.

Group D
Montenegro - Spain 77-76
Montenegro nipped Spain to gain the second consecutive win in Group D. Stefan Vlahovic (193-F/G-01) delivered 20 points to lead the hosts. Spain posted a comfortable 44:28 halftime lead. But Montenegro used a strong 32:9 run in the third term to spur ahead. Spain tried hard to avoid an upset but the home side hung on to secure the victory. Jovan Kljajic (198-F/G-01) and Djordje Marinovic (201-PF-01) netted 12 points each in the win. Santiago Aldama (207-SF-01) provided 18 points for Spain.

Latvia - Sweden 58-48
Latvia defeated Sweden for the opening win in Group D. Ojars Berzins (191-G-01) netted 14 points for the winners. Latvia accumulated a 31:19 halftime lead. They protected the advantage throughout the second half and marched to the win. Jekabs Beks (204-C-01) and Kristaps Kilps (194-SG-01) tossed in 8 points each in the victory. Alan Brzezinski (186-PG-01) had 10 points for Sweden.

France crowned champions in Podgorica - 2 months ago
FINAL Montenegro - France 68-75 France celebrated title in Podgorica. They upset hosting Montenegro in the championship game today. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) stepped up with 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead les Bleues. France recorded a 28:14 lead after ten minutes. Montenegro worked hard to narrow the deficit at 4-point mark at the final intermission. But France replied with a 19:16 run in the fourth period to capture the trophy.
