France - Sweden 73-68
Timothe Crusol (190-G-01) scored 23 points as France overcame Sweden in Round of 16 clash. Sweden secured a 32:29 halftime lead. France however turned things around in the second half. les Bleues unloaded 44 points in the second half and drove to the win. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) tallied 13 points, 13 assists and 9 boards for France. Hugo Bergstrom (182-PG-01) had 18 points for Sweden.

Italy - Montenegro 47-68
Montenegro defeated Italy to reach the quarterfinal stage. Stefan Vlahovic (193-F/G-01) tallied 18 points to lead the hosts. Italy posted a narrow 19:18 lead after ten minutes. But Montenegro held Italy to just 28 points in the next three quarters and rolled to the win. Viktor Vujisic (203-F-01) netted 16 points and grabbed 11 boards in the victory. Nicolo Mannion (187-PG-01) had 13 points for the Azzurri.

Israel - Turkey 66-89
Turkey coasted past Israel en route to the quarterfinal stage. Mustafa Kurtuldum (193-G-01) delivered 22 points to lead the charge. Turkey accounted for a 46:29 halftime lead. They outscored Israel in the next two quarters and raced to the win. Omer Kucuk (189-PG-01) produced 19 points, 10 assists and 9 boards in the victory. Raziel Hayun (194-SG-01) replied with 14 points for Israel.

Lithuania - Finland 70-58
Lithuania outgunned Finland to secure the quarterfinal birth at the championship. Marek Blazevic (206-C-01) delivered 22 points and 8 boards for the Baltic team. Lithuania recorded a 34:24 halftime lead. They used a 21:14 rally in the fourth frame to snatch the victory. Nojus Pankratjevas (185-PG-01) had 14 points in the win. Mustapha Amzil (203-PF-01) replied with 12 points and 9 boards for Finland.

Latvia - Russia 83-81 OT
Latvia outlasted Russia in overtime to stay in the title race in Podgorica. Kristaps Kilps (194-SG-01) came up with 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Baltic team. Russia recorded a 39:33 halftime lead. They boosted the gap at 8-point mark heading into the fourth frame. But Latvia used a 22:14 run to force overtime. They added 13 points in the extra period and rolled to the victory. Ojars Berzins (191-G-01) had 18 points for the winning side. Denis Kovalev (192-SG-01) replied with 20 points for Russia.

Slovenia - Croatia 65-76
Croatia outgunned Slovenian en route to the quarterfinals in Podgorica. Matej Rudan (204-C-01) delivered 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Croatia and Slovenia were tied at 36 after twenty minutes. Croatia however ignited a 40:29 run in the second half to ice the win. Viktor Saric (203-F/C-01, agency: Octagon Europe) netted 16 points and collected 10 rebounds for the winners. Gregor Glas (196-G/F-01, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 22 points for Slovenia.

Spain - Estonia 59-54
Spain outscored Estonia in Round of 16 clash. Santiago Aldama (207-SF-01) delivered 13 points for the winners. Spain accounted for an 18:6 lead after ten minutes. Estonia used a strong 23:12 rally in the third term to pull within a single point. But Spain bounced back with an 18:14 run in the fourth term to seal the win. Golden Dike (207-F-01) had 10 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Kaspar Kitsing (195-F/G-01) tossed in 15 points for Estonia.

Germany - Serbia 55-59
Serbia held off Germany to enter the quarterfinal stage. Aleksandar Langovic (204-F/C-01) tallied 18 points and 20 rebounds to lead the winners. Serbia accumulated a 33:29 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 6-point mark heading into the fourth frame. Germany pulled closer in the final period but could not avoid the loss. Djordje Pazin (200-SF-01) had 15 points for the winners. Luc Van Slooten (202-F/G-02) produced 13 points for Germany.

France crowned champions in Podgorica - 2 months ago
FINAL Montenegro - France 68-75 France celebrated title in Podgorica. They upset hosting Montenegro in the championship game today. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) stepped up with 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead les Bleues. France recorded a 28:14 lead after ten minutes. Montenegro worked hard to narrow the deficit at 4-point mark at the final intermission. But France replied with a 19:16 run in the fourth period to capture the trophy.
