Group A
Belarus - Romania 85-43
Belarus clinched the third victory in Sofia as they beat Romania today. Aliaksei Navoichyk (190-PG-01) stepped up with 22 points for the winners. Belarus accumulated a 49:22 halftime lead and cruised to the victory in the second half. Alex Tsynkevich (201-PF-01) had 12 points and 10 boards in the victory. Constantin Gavriloaia (196-SF-01) had 16 points for Romania.

Switzerland - Greece 39-111
Greece coasted past Switzerland to remain undefeated in Sofia. Dimitrios Karaiskos (208-C-01) netted 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for the Hellenes. Greece unloaded 57 points in the first half to take a comfortable halftime lead. They added 54 points in the second part of the game to ease to the win. Aristotelis Sotiriou had 18 points in the victory. Noe Lugt (198-PF-01) tossed in 12 points for Switzerland.

Belgium - Iceland 89-63
Belgium clinched the second position in Group A. They stormed past Iceland to finish preliminary round at 4-1 record. Niels De Ridder (195-F-01) scored 25 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and issued 5 assists for the winners. Belgium accumulated a 44:33 halftime lead. They sank 45 points in the second half to march to the win. Thomas Van Hille (186-SG-01) and Haris Bratanovic (208-C-01) had 17 points each for the winners. Dui Jonsson (178-PG-01) responded with 16 points for Iceland.

Group B
Bulgaria - Poland 75-72
Bulgaria overcame Poland but finished just fourth in Group B. Mihail Modlov (01) notched 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Bulgaria eked out a 35:32 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 6-point mark heading into the fourth quarter and hung on to claim the win. Konstantin Kostadinov (202-PF-03), Emiliyan Grudov (195-F/G-01) and Aleksandar Stoimenov (190-SG-01) notched 11 points each for the winners. Igor Yoka and Mateusz Kaszowski replied with 15 points each for Poland.

Denmark - Ukraine 64-96
Ukraine claimed the third victory in Group B as they trounced Denmark. Yurii Romanovskyi (192-SF-01) and Igor Serheiev topscored with 14 points each for Ukraine. Ukraine accumulated a 47:36 halftime advantage. They went on a 28:9 run in the third term to clear off for good. Serhii Melnyk (192-SG-01) had 13 points in the victory. Andreas Mortensen (186-G-01) had 12 points for Denmark.

Holland - Cyprus 98-43
Netherlands prevailed against Cyprus to improve at 5-0 record on top of Group B. Tristan Enaruna (204-PF-01) had 16 points for the Dutch team. Netherlands accumulated a 50:21 halftime advantage. They unloaded 48 points in the second half to rally to the victory. Bas Leyte (203-C-01) notched 15 points for the winners. Filippos Tigkas (175-PG-02) had 7 points for Cyprus.

Group C
Hungary - Bosnia 79-65
Hungary rallied past Bosnia to seal their quarterfinal appearance. Peter Filipovity (188-SG-01) was responsible for 17 points and 6 boards to lead the charge. Bosnia accumulated a 35:25 halftime advantage. But Hungary used a massive 32:13 run in the fourth quarter to snatch a crucial win. Tamas Pallai (192-SG-01) tossed in 13 points in the victory. Timur Krupalija (204-F-01) replied with 15 points and 14 boards for Bosnia.

Czech Republic - Ireland 66-62
Czech Republic held off Ireland to improve at 5-0 record on top of Group C. Nikolaos Noumeros (196-SF-01) tallied 14 points and 9 boards for the winning side. The teams were knotted at 33 at the big break. Czech Republic poured in 33 points in the second half and snatched a tough win. Matej Fanta (201-PF-01) had 12 points in the victory. Oluwasanmi Fajana (198-C-01) had 17 points and 9 boards for Ireland.

Norway - Slovakia 47-73
Slovakia finally clinched the first win in Sofia. They snapped four-game losing skid and edged Norway in Group C. Adam Korfanta (175-PG-01) netted 16 points for the winning side. Slovakia grabbed a 39:27 halftime lead. They went on a 20:9 run in the third term to clear off for good. Filip Rakai tossed in 11 points in the victory. Lars Nilsen had 16 points for Norway.

Group D
Luxembourg - FYR Macedonia 71-75
FYR Macedonia held off Luxembourg for the second victory in Group D. Dario Mitevski (185-G-01) tossed in 20 points in the win. Luxembourg looked well in control in the first half. They grabbed a 45:33 halftime advantage. But FYR Macedonia bounced back with a 25:11 run in the fourth quarter to snatch the win. Luka Naumovski (180-PG-01) had 19 points in the victory. Felix Vlaminck (188-SG-01) replied with 22 points for Luxembourg.

Portugal - United Kingdom 54-64
Great Britain celebrated the fifth consecutive win in Group D. They topped Portugal to enter the quarterfinal stage unbeaten. Tomiwa Sulaiman (196-PF-01) and Mate Okros (197-G-00) had 18 points apiece for the winning team. Great Britain grabbed a 30:25 halftime lead. They held Portugal to just 29 points in the second half to race to the win. Hugo Ferreira (178-SG-01) and Andre Cruz (192-SG-02) chipped in 12 points apiece for Portugal.

Georgia - Kosovo 77-48
Georgia fired past Kosovo to improve at 4-1 record in Group D. Irakli Sulkhanishvili (195-SG-01) netted 15 points and collected 11 rebounds in the win. Georgia accumulated a 40:27 halftime lead. They stayed in charge throughout the second half and rallied to the win. Rati Andronikashvili (190-PG-01) produced 14 points, 6 assists and 6 steals in the victory. Erhan Sholla (197-SF-01) banked in 17 points for Kosovo.

France crowned champions in Podgorica - 2 months ago
FINAL Montenegro - France 68-75 France celebrated title in Podgorica. They upset hosting Montenegro in the championship game today. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) stepped up with 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead les Bleues. France recorded a 28:14 lead after ten minutes. Montenegro worked hard to narrow the deficit at 4-point mark at the final intermission. But France replied with a 19:16 run in the fourth period to capture the trophy.
