Montenegro - Serbia 73-66
Montenegro will play in the title game in Podgorica on Sunday. They edged out Serbia in the semifinal battle tonight. Stefan Vlahovic (193-F/G-01) posted 21 points and 6 boards in the win. Serbia eked out a 21:20 lead after ten minutes. But Montenegro slowed their opponents down in the second frame. They pulled ahead for a 38:31 halftime lead. Montenegro followed with a 22:15 run in the third term to take a 14-point lead. Serbia notched 20 points in the fourth frame but could not avoid the loss. Jovan Kljajic (198-F/G-01) tallied 17 points and 11 rebounds for Montenegro. Djordje Pazin (200-SF-01) tossed in 18 points for Serbia.

France - Croatia 83-60
France entered the championship game in Podgorica. They stormed past Croatia in the semifinal clash. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) notched 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for les Bleues. France accumulated a 38:24 halftime lead. They added 45 points in the second half and eased to the victory. Theo Maledon (192-G-00) netted 19 points in the win. Matej Rudan (204-C-01) topscored with 25 points and 8 boards for Croatia.
5-8 Place
Turkey - Latvia 79-73
Turkey held off Latvia in the classification clash today. Ismail Karabilen (205-PF-01) tallied 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning team. Latvia enjoyed a 43:32 halftime lead. Turkey went on a 25:12 run in the third term to spur ahead. They dropped 22 points in the fourth frame to ice the win. Tarik Sezgun (208-PF-01) and Omer Kucuk (189-PG-01) netted 13 points each for the winners. Roberts Berzins (192-PG-01) delivered 22 points for Latvia.

Lithuania - Spain 92-80
Lithuania outscored Spain in the classification round. Lukas Kreismontas (195-SG-01) scored 18 points to pace the Baltic side. Spain eked out an 18:15 lead after ten minutes. But Lithuania unleashed 54 points in the next two periods to secure a 27-point lead at the final break. Spain narrowed the gap in the fourth term but could not avoid the loss. Marek Blazevic (206-C-01) had 16 points and 9 boards for the winning side. Jaime Pradilla (207-C-01) responded with 20 points for Spain.

9-12 Place
Israel - Slovenia 59-70
Slovenia outscored Israel in the classification round. Gregor Glas (196-G/F-01, agency: BeoBasket) posted 22 points to lead the charge. Slovenia posted a 39:27 halftime lead. They went on a 19:11 run in the third quarter to clear off for good. Rok Radovic (198-F/G-01) had 16 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Raziel Hayun (194-SG-01) netted 12 points for Israel.

Italy - Estonia 65-53
Italy outgunned Estonia in the classification game. Nicolo Mannion (187-PG-01) recorded 22 points and 8 boards for the Azzurri. Italy registered a 35:25 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 13-point mark at the final intermission and rolled to the win. Matteo Nicoli (189-SG-01) had 12 points in the victory. Kaspar Kitsing (195-F/G-01) chipped in 13 points for Estonia.
13-16 Place
Sweden - Russia 79-76 OT
Sweden outlasted Russia in overtime. Alan Brzezinski (186-PG-01) nailed 16 points and made 7 steals to pace the Scandinavian team. Russia grabbed a 47:40 halftime lead. But Sweden erased the deficit in the second half and forced overtime. They held Russia to 6 points in the extra period and raced to the win. Stilianos Chatziathanasiou (188-G-01) netted 13 points in the victory. Viktor Lakhin (205-F-01) answered with 14 points and 13 rebounds for Russia.

Finland - Germany 62-75
Germany outscored Finland in the relegation round. Timo Lanmuller (187-PG-01) posted 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Germany piled up a 41:27 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 20-point mark heading into the fourth frame and rallied to the win. Radii Caisin (194-F/G-01) and Len Schoormann (192-SG-02) had 12 points each for the winners. Eelis Uitto (184-SG-01) replied with 15 points for Finland.

FINAL Montenegro - France 68-75 France celebrated title in Podgorica. They upset hosting Montenegro in the championship game today. Killian Hayes (194-G-01) stepped up with 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead les Bleues. France recorded a 28:14 lead after ten minutes. Montenegro worked hard to narrow the deficit at 4-point mark at the final intermission. But France replied with a 19:16 run in the fourth period to capture the trophy.
