San Marino and Wales reached the third straight victories at the U18 European Championship Men, Division C. They will face off for the title last day of the tournament.
In Day 4 San Marino destroyed Gibraltar 72:36. The hosts of the tournament started with 29-10 and never looked behind after. They added 18-4 in the second frame as the board showed 47:14 at the halftime. San Marino also added 9-8 in the third period and won the last frame 16-14. Davide Macina (178-G-93) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Guerra nailed 15. Bado replied with 17 points in the losing effort.
Wales edged Andorra 64:62 in a real thriller. They won the first period 18-14, but Andorra reduced to 3 points at the halftime. Moreover Jacob Lloyd (185-G-94) could only bring 44:42 after three quarters and Brighach Abaslama tied the game at 62:62 with 20 seconds remaining. Jacob Lloyd brought the victory for Wales with a buzzer-beater. The latter topscored for the winners with 22 points, while Klan netted 14. Moline posted 15 points in the losing effort.

The draws have been completed for the FIBA U18 European Championships 2017, Divisions A and B. The draw had originally been scheduled to take place on 10 December, but was delayed until Thursday afternoon in Munich, given the postponement of the FIBA U18 European Championship 2016 Division A, from late July to mid-December. FINAL Lithuania - France 68-75 France conquered Gold medals in Samsun. They defeated Lithuania in the championship game tonight. Frank Ntilikina (196-PG-98) posted 31 points to lead the winners. The victory marked the first Gold for Les Bleues since 2006. France dominated in the first half. They recorded a 36:28 halftime lead. Lithuania narrowed the deficit in the third term.
