San Marino and Wales reached the third straight victories at the U18 European Championship Men, Division C. They will face off for the title last day of the tournament.
In Day 4 San Marino destroyed Gibraltar 72:36. The hosts of the tournament started with 29-10 and never looked behind after. They added 18-4 in the second frame as the board showed 47:14 at the halftime. San Marino also added 9-8 in the third period and won the last frame 16-14. Davide Macina (178-G-93) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Guerra nailed 15. Bado replied with 17 points in the losing effort.
Wales edged Andorra 64:62 in a real thriller. They won the first period 18-14, but Andorra reduced to 3 points at the halftime. Moreover Jacob Lloyd (185-G-94) could only bring 44:42 after three quarters and Brighach Abaslama tied the game at 62:62 with 20 seconds remaining. Jacob Lloyd brought the victory for Wales with a buzzer-beater. The latter topscored for the winners with 22 points, while Klan netted 14. Moline posted 15 points in the losing effort.

Division B. Montenegro celebrate title in Skopje - 1 month ago

FINAL Ukraine - Montenegro 72-83 Montenegro celebrated the title in Skopje. They outlasted Ukraine in the championship game tonight. Milos Popovic (197-PF-98) scored 17 points to lead the Balkan team. Ukraine secured a 22:16 lead after the first period. But Montenegro went on a massive 27:12 run in the second term to establish a 43:34 halftime lead. Montenegro sank 24 points in the third term to open a 13-point lead. SEMIFINALS Montenegro - Slovakia 87-72 Montenegro fired past Slovakia to clinch the championship game birth. Milos Popovic (197-PF-98) scored 23 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead the winners as they claimed Division A promotion. Montenegro establish a 51:39 halftime lead. Slovakia cut the deficit at 7-point mark at the final intermission. However Montenegro sank 25 points in the fourth term to ice the victory.
