Switzerland - Bulgaria 29-81
Bulgaria registered its second straight win at U18 EuroBasket Division B in Strumica. They destroyed Switzerland 81-29 for perfect 2-0 record in Preliminary Group B. Bulgaria took control on its rival from the very beginning and never looked back. Quarters: 9-20, 14-20, 2-24, 4-17. Switzerland dropped to 0-2 in this pool. Iva Kostova (178-SG-94) and Kalina Aksentieva (182-PF-95) led Bulgaria with 15 points and 5 rebounds each. Borislava Hristova (180-F-96) delivered 12 points. In defeat, Brigitte Huguenin (96) scored 11 points and Alexandra Koch (175-PG-94) had 8. Ljubica Cutunic (186-F-94) stopped to 5 pts and 9 boards. Bulgaria will play against Denmark today. Switzerland will meet Norway hoping to get the first win in Strumica.

Denmark - Finland 58-54
Denmark celebrated in its first appearance at U18 EuroBasket Division B in Strumica. They outplayed Finland 58-54 handing them first loss at this event. It means that Denmark has 1-0 record now in Group B, while Finland dropped to 1-1. Simone Ceccardi (182-PF-95) led the winners with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Frederikke Mollerup (177-G/F-95) scored 10 points and Maria Jespersen (179-G-94) added 9 pts, plus 9 rebs. In defeat, Kaisa Kuisma (180-SF-94) collected 14 points and 5 rebounds. Anni Jamsa (167-PG-95) and Evianna Sipila (178-SF-95) stopped to 8 points each. Quarters: 18-13, 13-15, 11-14, 16-12. Today, Denmark will meet Bulgaria. Finland will have a day off.

Group D
Montenegro - Germany 47-71
Germany had no mercy for Montenegro 71-47 in Day Two of U18 EuroBasket Division B in Strumica. After this victory Germany jumped to 2-0 record in Preliminary Group D. At the other side, Montenegro faced with the second straight loss (0-2). Marie Gulich (192-C-94) (10 rebs) and Elisabeth Dzirma (179-G-94) scored 14 points each for the winners. Katharina Muller (181-F-94) helped with 9 pts and 5 boards. In Montenegro, Milena Vujacic (95) and Majda Kolic (96) posted 12 and 10 points respectively. Milena Djaletic (186-C-94) had 6 points. Quarters: 9-11, 13-20, 10-15, 15-25. Germany will play against Ukraine today. Montenegro will meet Scotland hoping to get the first win at this event.

Ukraine - Lithuania 59-64 OT
Lithuania jumped to 2-0 record in Preliminary Group D of U18 EuroBasket Division B in Strumica. They grabbed 64-59 OT win against Ukraine on Friday. At the same time, it was the first appearance for Ukraine at this event. Justina Kraujunaite (174-F-95) was a key player in victory with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Greta Tamasauskaite (171-G-91) secured a great help adding 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Austeja Sirsinaityte (164-PG-95) added 11 pts. In Ukraine, Nataliya Skorbatyuk (183-F-95) top-scored with 12 points. Oksana Batrakova (186-C-95) had 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Olga Krayevska (178-PG-94) and Liliia Kopylets (182-F-94) stopped to 10 pts each. Quarters: 9-16, 17-12, 19-12, 9-14, 5-10 OT. Lithuania will take a rest today. Ukraine will meet Germany.
