Group A
Germany - Russia 69-67 OT
Germany held off Russia in overtime for the first win in Group A. Jonas Mattisseck (193-PG-00) posted 15 points for the winners. Russia secured a 28:24 halftime lead. But Germany picked up the tempo in the second half to force overtime. They sank 12 points in the extra period to seal the win. Badu Buck (196-SG-99) had 11 points in the victory. Alexandr Khomenko (190-G-99, agency: Alti Sport) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds for Russia.

Montenegro - Turkey 74-85
Turkey finished on top of Group A. They rallied past Montenegro for the third straight win. Ragip Atar (210-C-99) produced 27 points and 9 rebounds in the victory. Turkey rolled to a 48:38 halftime advantage. They extended the margin at 14-point mark at the final intermission. Montenegro narrowed the gap in the fourth quarter but could not avert the loss. Yigitcan Saybir (201-F-99) produced 20 points for the winners. Nikola Zizic (208-C-00) answered with 12 points for Montenegro.

Group B
Italy - Spain 68-61
Italy rolled past Spain for 2-1 record in Group B. Michele Serpilli (203-PF-99, agency: Players Group) came up with 15 points for the Azzurri. Italy secured a 34:25 halftime lead. Spain cut the distance at 4-point mark heading into the fourth quarter. But Italy sank 23 points in the fourth term to secure the winning outcome. Guglielmo Caruso (205-PF-99) netted 10 points for the winners. Joel Parra (202-F-00) banked in 14 points for Spain.

Serbia - Ukraine 72-63
Serbia edged Ukraine to clinch the top place in Group B. Aleksa Uskokovic (194-G-99) netted 16 points in the win. Ukraine recorded a 44:32 halftime advantage. But Serbia went on a 20:8 rally in the third term to level things up. Serbia ignited a 20:11 run in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Marko Pecarski (208-C-00) tallied 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Yusuf Sanon (190-G-99) notched 22 points for Ukraine.

Group C
Greece - Lithuania 61-81
Lithuania stormed past Greece to finish atop of Group C. Arnas Velicka (192-PG-99) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds for the Baltic team. Lithuania went on a 23:6 run in the second quarter to secure a 45:31 halftime lead. Lithuania extended the margin at 22-point mark heading into the fourth quarter and marched to the win. Ignas Sargiunas (193-SG-99) netted 16 points for the winners. Georgios Kalaitzakis (198-PG-99) netted 14 points for Greece.

Finland - Slovenia 80-90
Slovenia outgunned Finland to open win count in Slovakia. David Kralj (191-G-99) stepped up with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the win. Slovenia claimed a 44:41 halftime advantage. Slovenia poured in 46 points in the second half to roll to the victory. Matevz Mlakar (203-C/F-99) had 16 points in the win. Andre Gustavson (190-SG-99) delivered 19 points for Finland.

Group D
France - Slovakia 68-54
Ivan Fevrier (203-F-99) tallied 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead France past Slovakia in Group D. Slovakia ensured a 17:15 lead after ten minutes. France replied with a 20:11 run in the second quarter to take 35:28 halftime lead. France held the hosts to just 26 points in the second half to rally to the win. Ludovic Beyhurst (173-PG-99) and Joshua Mballa (198-F-99) had 10 points each in the victory. Matej Majercak (183-SG-99) responded with 11 points for Slovakia.

Latvia - Bosnia 79-74
Latvia outgunned Bosnia for the second win in Group D. Francis Gustavs Lacis (200-F-99) provided 18 points in the victory. Bosnia and Latvia were tied at 48 at halftime. Latvia however held Bosnia just to 26 points in the second half and snatched the win. Davids Atelbauers (182-SG-99) had 13 points in the victory. Sani Campara (190-G-99) produced 16 points and 7 assists for Bosnia.

Serbia clinch Gold in Slovakia - 2 months ago
FINAL Spain - Serbia 62-74 Serbia celebrated Gold medals in Slovakia. They topped Spain in the title game. Nikola Miskovic (207-G/F-99) posted 23 points to lead the champions. The victory marked the first Gold for Serbia since 2009. Spain eked out a 29:28 halftime lead. But Serbia stepped on the gas in the second half.
