Youth tournaments confirmed for 2016 - Dec 11, 2015

FIBA Europe Board confirmed the hosts of the youth tournament for 2016 today. U20 European Championship will be held in Matosinhos, Portugal. The tournament is scheduled to take place from 9th through 17th of July. Division B will take place in Podgorica, Montenegro. The dates for Division B will be 9th-17th of July. Spain conquer the title in Lanzarote - Jul 13, 2015

FINAL France - Spain 47-66 Spain breezed past France to earn the title in Lanzarote. Leticia Romero (173-G-95) finished with 22 points to pace teh winners. Spain therefore claimed the fourth Gold medals in the last five editions of the championship. Spain dominated from start to finish in the title game. They recorded a 17:8 lead after ten minutes.
