Bosnia - Ukraine 89-71
Jusuf Nurkic (213-C-94) tallied 26 points and 11 rebounds to carry Bosnia past Ukraine into the Final game of the championship Bosnia also sealed the Division A birth with the victory. The hosts grabbed a 49:36 halftime lead. They outscored Ukraine in the second half to cruise to the victory. Adin Vrabac (203-G-94) chipped in 17 points for the winners. Viacheslav Petrov (203-PF-94) answered with 17 points for Ukraine.

Belarus - Belgium 70-91
Belgium are the first finalists in Sarajevo. They knocked down Belarus in the first semifinal of the tournament today. Manu Lecomte (175-PG-95) was unstoppable with 34 points for Belgium. Ismael Bako (208-C-95) contributed 22 points and 14 boards for the winners. Belgium piled up a 54:31 halftime lead at the interval and never looked back en route to the victory. Maksim Salash (206-C/F-96) replied with 20 points for Belarus.
5-8 Place
Portugal - Finland 75-65
Pedro Bastos (186-PG-94) nailed 19 points to pace Portugal past Finland in the classification round clash. Portugal piled up a 47:30 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Diogo Ventura (189-PG-94) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds for Portugal. Marcel Moore (200-F-94) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds for Finland.

Holland - Cyprus 69-45
Netherlands fired past Cyprus in the classification round game in Sarajevo. Mike Schilder (185-PG-94, agency: Court Side) posted 18 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds for the Dutch team. Nethelands outscored Cyprus in all four quarters and secured the winning outcome at the end. Julius Van Sauers delivered 11 points for the winners. Stefanos Illiadis replied with 20 points for Cyprus.

9-12 Place
Georgia - Estonia 60-52
Georgia held off Estonia in their last but one game at the tournament. Beka Burjanadze (203-PF-94) posted 16 points and 11 rebounds to pace Georgia. They jumped to a 31:23 halftime lead. Georgia extended the lead to as many as 12 points at the final intermission. Estonia cut the distance in the fourth frame but could not avoid the defeat. Irakli Mikeladze (182-PG-94) netted 12 points for Georgia. Sten Olmre (194-SG-95) responded with 11 points for Estonia.

Romania - Austria 70-68
Romania escaped with a narrow victory over Austria today. Romania built a 39:31 halftime lead and held on to it throughout the second half. Andrei Damian (195-SG-94) tossed in 12 points for the winners. Vlad Stoicoviciu (196-G-94) and Mario Lazar (201-PF-94) contributed 10 points each in the victory. Valentin Bauer (181-PG-94) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds for Austria.

FINAL Lithuania - Spain 55-68 Spain celebrated the title in Helsinki. They overcame Lithuania in the championship game tonight. Marc Garcia (199-SF-96) came up with 21 points to lead the champions. Spain broke away in the second frame. They established a 40:32 halftime lead. Lithuania narrowed the deficit in the third term. The Baltic team pulled within 6 points at the final intermission.
