Fotis Katsikaris (agency: FCM ) officially takes Russian National Team under control. The Greek specialist signed a contract in Russia agreed also with his Spanish team and will coach them as well. He will pause the contract with Bilbao in June 30th. The Greek specialist was the main candidate for head coach job. The federation was looking for the specialist to take helm at the National Team after the departure of David Blatt. Fotis Katsikaris (agency: FCM ) worked in Russia back in 2005/2007 seasons. The Greek coach guided Dynamo Saint Petersburg. Most recently Fotis Katsikaris (agency: FCM ) has been working with Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao in Spain. He also was at helm in AEK Athens, Pamesa Valencia and Aris. Over the last few years he became Spanish ACB Finalist -11 and Spanish ACB Supercup Semifinals -12.

Lampe had amazing 2010/11 season with Unics Kazan. He was named Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Player of the Year -11 and also Eurobasket.com All-Russian PBL Player of the Year -11. In VTB United League Lampe was Center of the Year- 11. He helped Unics to win the EuroCup title averaging 15.6 points and 8.1 rebounds. Thomas Kelati spends 2012-2013 season with Valencia Basket (Spain-ACB, starting five).
