Group A
Latvia - Slovenia 77-66
Latvia edged Slovenia and claimed EuroBasket 2017 appearance. Six players scored in double digits as Latvia clinched the second position in Group A. Gunta Basko-Melnbarde (181-F-80, college: Siena, agency: Josep and Nicolas) posted 13 points to lead the winners. Latvia used 39:24 run in the second and third quarters to clear off for good. Kristine Vitola (193-C-91, college: UTEP) posted 12 points and 10 boards in the victory. Sandra Pirsic (196-C-84) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds as Slovenia finished on top despite the loss.

Group B
Holland - Estonia 70-46
Netherlands finished the Qualifying Round on a high note. They topped Estonia for 3-3 record. Emese Hof (190-F/C-96) scored 14 points in the win. Netherlands established a 38:23 halftime lead. The Dutch side maintained the pressure throughout the second half and marched to the win. Jill Bettonvil (188-F-92) had 11 points and 9 boards in the victory. Laina Mesila-Kaarmann (186-C/F-87) responded with 19 points for Estonia.

France - Croatia 84-65
France celebrated the sixth straight victory at the Qualifying Round. They knocked down visiting Croatia to finish undefeated. Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-PF-88) posted 17 points to lead the effort. France built a 46:25 halftime lead and cruised to the victory in the second half. Sarah Michel (180-SG-89) provided 13 points and 7 assists for Les Bleues. Ana Lelas (183-G/F-83) responded with 13 points for Croatia.

Group C
Albania - United Kingdom 55-97
Great Britain fired past Albania to finish third in Group C. Chantelle Handy (188-SF-87, college: Marshall, agency: Two Points) tallied 31 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Great Britain grabbed a 47:27 halftime lead. The visitors sank 50 points in the second half and iced the win. Ella Clark (190-F-92, college: Long Beach St.) added 16 points for the winners. Eliverta Bujari (168-G-86) responded with 13 points for Albania.

Montenegro - Italy 66-57
Montenegro beat Italy to seal their 2017 EuroBasket birth. Jelena Dubljevic (191-C-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) notched 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Montenegro piled up a 31:23 halftime lead. They kept the Azzurri at bay throughout the second half and rallied to the win. Iva Perovanovic (188-C/F-83) tossed in 10 points for the winners. Laura Macchi (188-F-79) responded with 15 points for the Azzurri.

Group D
Serbia - Ukraine 82-88
Ukraine clinched the sixth straight win in the Qualifying Round. They outgunned Serbia on the road to top Group D. Alina Iagupova (186-G/F-92, agency: LBM Management) notched 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort. Ukraine got to a quick start. They secured a 49:39 halftime lead. Serbia pulled closer in the second half but could not rescue the game. Ganna Zarytska provided 20 points in the win. Sonja Petrovic responded with 24 points for Serbia.

Luxembourg - Germany 54-94
Germany fired past Luxembourg to earn the second win in Group D. Sonja Greinacher (188-F/C-92, college: Gonzaga) tossed in 25 points to pace the German team. The visitors piled up a 49:28 halftime lead. Germany kept the hosts at bay throughout the second half and eased to the win. Agnieszka Fikiel (194-F/C-87) delivered 15 points for the winners. Cathy Schmit (170-G-90) responded with 14 points for Luxembourg.

Group E
Slovakia - Hungary 49-68
Hungary toppled Slovakia to race to the fifth win in Group E. Tijana Krivacevic (196-F-90) delivered 19 points to lead the group leaders. Hungary established a 34:19 halftime advantage. They protected the lead throughout the second half and rolled to the victory. Courtney Vandersloot (173-PG-89, college: Gonzaga) had 9 points in the win. Zofia Hruscakova (190-F/C-95) responded with 11 points for Slovakia.

Iceland - Portugal 65-54
Iceland wrapped up their Qualifying campaign with victory. They rallied past Portugal at home court. Sigrun Amundadottir (181-C/F-88) notched 16 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Iceland secured a 31:29 halftime lead. The hosts limited Portugal to just 25 points in the second half and raced to the win. Gunnhildur Gunnarsdottir (176-G-90) delivered 12 points for the winners. Daniela Domingues (176-G/F-92) responded with 15 points and 8 boards for Portugal.

Group F
Switzerland - Bulgaria 48-72
Bulgaria snatched a road win over Switzerland for 2-4 record in Group F. Daniela Peteva (179-F-89) provided 19 points to pace the winners. Bulgaria accounted for a 31:29 halftime lead. The visitors went on a 41:19 run in the second half to rally to the win. Radostina Dimitrova (181-SF-94) had 18 points and 8 assists in the victory. Alexia Rol (181-F-89) responded with 15 points for Switzerland.

Russia - Greece 67-53
Russia knocked down Greece for the sixth straight win in Group F. Maria Vadeeva (193-C-98) came up with 20 points to lead the charge. Russia gained a 42:17 halftime lead. Greece slowed the hosts down in the second half but could not avoid the loss. Eugeniya Belyakova (182-SF-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) provided 10 points in the win. Styliani Kaltsidou (188-F-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) and Zoi Dimitrakou (188-F-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had 12 points each for Greece.

Group G
Poland - Belgium 61-77
Belgium secured the top position in Group G. They topped Poland on the road to seal the 2017 EuroBasket birth. Ann Wauters (194-C-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) finished with 16 points to lead the winners. Belgium accumulated a 52:40 halftime advantage. Belgium held Poland to just 21 points in the second half and cruised to the win. Kim Mestdagh (179-SG-90, college: Colorado St., agency: LBM Management) and Emma Meesseman (192-C-93, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 13 points each for the winners. Aleksandra Pawlak (189-PF-84, agency: Promotex) responded with 14 points for Poland.

Group H
Turkey - Romania 64-54
Turkey outgunned Romania to clinch the top position in Group H. Tilbe Senyurek (190-C-95, agency: 1x1 Sports) posted 17 points and 6 rebounds in the victory. Turkey established a 34:27 halftime advantage. Turkey went on a 20:9 run in the fourth period to seal the win. Pelin Bilgic (175-G-94, agency: LBM Management) had 14 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Gabriela Marginean (182-F-87, college: Drexel, agency: LBM Management) responded with 14 points for Romania.

Bosnia - Israel 62-80
Israel cruised past Bosnia on the road but failed to qualify to 2017 EuroBasket. Alysha Clark (178-F-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) provided 24 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists in the victory. Lev Tal stepped up with 21 points for the visitors. Bosnia recorded a 40:34 halftime lead. But Israel ignited a 46:22 run in the second half to snatch the victory. Lynetta Kizer (193-C-90, college: Maryland) responded with 19 points for Bosnia.

Group I
Sweden - Finland 94-45
Sweden coasted past Finland in the final game in Group I. Sweden therefore improved at 2-2 record in the second position in the standings but could not qualify for EuroBasket. Amanda Bazoukou (196-C-93, college: Minnesota) came up with 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the hosts. Binta Drammeh (180-F-92) added 16 points in the victory. Sweden dominated from start to finish outscoring their opponents in each quarter. Laura Lahtinen (175-G-86) and Evita Iiskola (183-F-93, college: Providence) responded with 11 points each for Finland.
