An awesome fourth period was enough for the Greek NT (2-0) who showed its character to succeed a psychological road win (the game took place in Zagreb) even if the team of Coach Fotis Katsikaris was following the score for more than 35 minutes the last bit belonged totally to the Greek NT and more specifically to one of the top European scorers, Vassilis Spanoulis (193-SG-82, agency: Beo Basket) who scored some great shots at the end and together with Bourousis who was also amazing at the end succeeded a thrilling victory over the very strong Croatian NT.

Coach Perasovic was wining the tactical game for the most of the game as with the good defense was able to forbid the pick enroll of the Greek NT for more than 35 minutes. At the end though the psychology changed totally and the shots by Simon, Hejonia and Ukic which were totally successful for most of the game at the end and due to the 'special weight' of the ball, the shots were unsuccessful while the experience of Zisis, Vassilis Spanoulis and Bourousis helped the Greek NT and Coach Katsikaris who played with three guards at the last five minutes and changed the rhythm totally as Coach Perasovic never realized the move which can easily characteriased as a check-mate by Coach K.

It is worth mentioend the absence of Bogdan Bogdanovic due to an injury yesterday afternoon, an important loss for the host team.

The Croatian NT took leads with as many as ten points in three different periods within the game. Amazing game by Hejonia, Ukic, and Zoric were able to dominate both edges of the court as their opponents were not able to stop them eitehr from teh parameter or in the paint. On the other hand, the Greek NT had major deffensive issues and had the bad luck to lose on eof its best players, as Giannis Adetokounmpo was called his fourht foul only 22 minutes after the end of the game, while Nic Calathes was not as solid as in teh previous games. With Hezonja, and Simon being amazing from the parameter and Saric with Zoric knocking the Greek defence from the insight the score went up to ten points in teh 23rd minute (30-40) and the momentum was driving all the way with the home team. The Greek NT reacted to cut the deficit to five but Saric and Tomic where there for the home team to increase the deficit to ten (43-53) 28.12'. 51-59 was the score at the end of the third period.

The last period the Croatian NT took a deficit of 8 points, 8 minutes to the end of the game. That was it,Vassilis Spanoulis took it personally and after the solid game of Nikos Zisis who was keeping the Greek NT close to the score, VSpan took it over and with personal points and assists to Bourousis and Printers changed the momentum and 4.24' to the end the game went to its absolute minimum (64-65) 4.24'' to the end. While some seconds later, Sloukas jump shot was succesfull to give the elad to the Greek NT 66-65 for the second time after the first seconds (2-0). That was it, the Croatians lost the momentum and the positive psychology giving the chance to the Greek NT to take the lead 1.30' to the end with 72-67. The Croatian simply cut the deficit to 72-70 to take the Greek Nt to the top of the Group with a record of 2-0.
