Nick
Calathes
An awesome first half was enough for the Greek NT to succeed another victory this time over the tough Georgian NT. The Greek players were amazing in both edges of the court in the first twenty minutes and more specifically in the second period of the game when the players of Coach Katsikaris couldn't miss the slightest shot and with 75% behind the arc with Calathes and Zisis being totally perfect the Greek NT outscore the Georgian NT with 50-22. 3.52' before the end of the first period the score was 10-14 and from then and one the Greek NT succeeded an amazing 36-12 in less than 14 minutes! With Calathes scoring 16 points, Zisis 11 and Adetokounmpo another 11, while Spanoulis had 4 assists.
The amazing defense over Shengelia (from Kaimakoglou and Printezis) was also important to mention as Shengelia score just 4 points in the first twenty minutes.

The third period though was totally different as the Georgians without having anything to lose succeeded a solid 26-11 to cut the deficit to as less as nine points, with Shengelia being the man of the Georgia NT. The score became 61-48

The fourth period was more of a typical hypothesis with both the teams being balanced and with the final score 79-68 being totally logical as even though Georgians gave their best shot, the deficit from the begining was quite solid and with nice team work by they Greek players, the Georgians couldn't do a lot other than simply cuting the final deficit to 11 points.

MVP of the game was Nick Calathes (197-PG-89, college: Florida, agency: Kappa Sports Mngm) with his 19 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists

Top scorers:
Greece: Calathes 19, Koufos and Adetokounmpo 12 per head and Zisis 11 points
Georgia: Shengelia 20 and 8 rebounds, Markoisvili 11, Sanikidze 10
