Dejan Kravic
Serbian-Canadian Dejan Kravic (211-F-90) had an amazing evening in the last round for Den Bosch and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 22 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat Zlatorog (0-1) 81-73. It allowed Den Bosch to jump to the first place in the FIBA Europe Cup Group D. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Den Bosch won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Kravic turned to be Den Bosch's top player in his first season with the team. Texas Tech University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kravic is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 13.0rpg) and averages solid 6.0bpg and 69.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old American center Garrett Stutz (212-C-90) of Tsmoki-Minsk. Stutz impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Tsmoki-Minsk to another comfortable win outscoring Rieker KN (0-1) 90-68. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Stutz is a newcomer at Tsmoki-Minsk and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#9). He also registered 11.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Jared Berggren (208-F/C-90, agency: Priority Sports) of AV Cantu. Berggren scored 19 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). Despite Berggren's great performance AV Cantu lost 81-101 to Boras. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. AV Cantu can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group E. The season just started for Berggren as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Tony Gugino (207-C/F-86) of Rilski - 21 points and 17 rebounds
5. Niklas Caner-Medley (203-F-83) of Astana - 25 points and 11 rebounds
6. Edin Bavcic (209-F/C-84) of Sopron KC - 28 points and 14 rebounds
7. Tanel Kurbas (197-G-88) of TU/Rock - 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Ross Bekkering (203-F/C-87) of Groningen - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Andriy Agafonov (208-PF-86) of P.Zvaigzdes - 21 points and 11 rebounds
10. Darryl Monroe (198-C/F-86) of Maccabi Rishon - 12 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
