Tallinna Ulikool/Kalev (Alexela KML) signed 25-year old Canadian ex-international point guard Jahmal Jones (183-91). He played last season at Bohemilk Turi Svitlavy in NBL league in Czech Republic. In 39 games he had 14.7ppg, 4.8rpg, 5.4apg (top 3) and 1.9spg (in top 3). A very impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Czech Rep. League Honorable Mention.
The previous (14-15) season Jones played at Rams in CIS where in 25 games he recorded very remarkable stats: 17.5ppg, 4.2rpg, 5.3apg (top 5) and 2.0spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was named to All-OUA 1st Team and CIS All-Canadian 2nd Team.
Jones also represented Canada at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) last year. His stats at that event were 5 games: 3.2ppg, 1.2rpg, 2.2apg.

Nanterre 92 - Elan Chalon 82:79 Nanterre 92 celebrated FIBA Europe Cup title. They held off Elan Chalon at home court tonight to win the title on aggregate. Chris Warren (178-PG-88, college: Mississippi) stepped up with 24 points and 10 assists to pace the hosts to the triumph. Nanterre 92 entered the game firing from all guns. Chalon - Nanterre 58:58 Chalon and Nanterre have not decided on the winner in the opening leg of FIBA Europe Cup Finals. The return leg is scheduled for April 25th in Nanterre. The teams went neck and neck in the opening period. The scoreboard read 15:15 after ten minutes. Nanterre surged ahead in the second frame to take a 41:28 halftime advantage.
