Moustapha
Fall
24-year old center Moustapha Fall (218-C-92) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Chalon and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Alba (4-2) with 29-point margin 106-77. It allowed Chalon to take over top position in the FIBA Europe Cup group A. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Chalon has a very solid 4-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. It was one of impressive evenings for Fall as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Moustapha Fall averages this season 11.5ppg and 7.2rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Martynas Echodas (204-C/F-97) of Siauliai. He is a in his first season at Siauliai. In the last game Echodas recorded impressive double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Siauliai was edged by slightly higher-ranked BK Pardubice (#2, 4-2) 89-85. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in group J. Siauliai still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 6 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Echodas is a newcomer at Siauliai and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Perry Petty (185-PG-88) of Kormend (#3). Petty got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . Despite Petty's great performance Kormend lost 72-79 to #2 ranked Groningen. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Kormend needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in group B. Their record is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Petty has a great season in FIBA Europe Cup. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 7.5apg (4th best). Petty attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Benjamin Simons (203-F-91) of Limburg United - 29 points and 2 rebounds
5. Seth Tuttle (203-F-92) of Limburg United - 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Djordje Gagic (210-C-90) of Tsmoki-Minsk - 23 points and 12 rebounds
7. Cameron Clark (201-G/F-91) of Chalon - 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Lance Jeter (191-PG-88) of Groningen - 26 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Damian Hollis (203-F-88) of Benfica - 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Andrew Lawrence (185-PG-90) of Sigal Prishtina - 24 points and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
