The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Turkish Gaziantep (2-1) on the court of French Chalon/Saor. Visitors were rolled over by Chalon/Saor 102-83. It looked good early as Gaziantep took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Chalon/Saor had a 27-17 second period charge getting the lead and Gaziantep was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 83-102. Chalon/Saor shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists. Swingman Axel Bouteille (201-95) helped adding 24 points and 5 rebounds. Five Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Davon Jefferson (204-86, college: USC) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Marcus Denmon (191-90, college: Missouri) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Chalon/Saor will play against Targu Mures (#4) on the road in the next round. Gaziantep will play against Sodertalje Kings and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

An interesting game for Swedish Sodertalje Kings (1-2) which hosted in Sodertalje Romanian Targu Mures (0-3). Sodertalje Kings had an easy win 88-68. The game was mostly controlled by Sodertalje Kings. Targu Mures managed to win fourth quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sodertalje Kings forced 21 Targu Mures turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. Sodertalje Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Croatian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who led the winners and scored 23 points. Point guard Thomas Massamba (183-85, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 10 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Four Sodertalje Kings players scored in double figures. Montenegrin Goran Gajovic (199-88, agency: 011 Sports) came up with 18 points, 8 assists and 5 steals and Latvian forward Ernests Kalve (200-87, agency: HMS) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Targu Mures in the defeat. Prievidza was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 61-42 second half run of Antwerp Giants. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Prievidza's 40 and made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Antwerp Giants especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Prievidza's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Mike Smith (198-87, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Inception Sports) who scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Jason Clark (188-90, college: Georgetown) chipped in 26 points and 9 assists. Antwerp Giants' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
