Trabzonspor Medical Park Basketbol (BSL) landed 28-year old Lithuanian international point guard Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-70kg-89, agency: Players Group). He played most recently at Muratbey Usak Sportlif Basketbol in Turkish BSL league. Vasiliauskas managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 20 BSL games he averaged 12.2ppg, 1.9rpg and 4.3apg. He also played 4 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 15.0ppg, 1.8rpg and 4.5apg. Vasiliauskas helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. He also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 11.6ppg, 1.6rpg and 4.2apg. The other team Vasiliauskas played that season for was Joventut in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 12 games he got 5.3ppg and 1.0apg.
Among other achievements his team made it to the Lithuanian Cup Final Four in 2016. Vasiliauskas received also Eurobasket.com Lithuanian LKL All-Domestic Players Team award in 2016.
He has been also a member of Lithuanian international program for some years. Vasiliauskas has regularly played for Lithuanian senior team since 2014 and previously for U20 National Team between 2008 and 2009.
He also represented Lithuania at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) four years ago.
Vasiliauskas has played also professionally in Poland (Trefl), Lithuania (Zalgiris, LSU-Atletas, Lietkabelis, Vytautas and P.Zvaigzdes) and Russia (Ruskon Mordovia).

American Point guard Tyreek Duren (183-PG-91) had a great game in the last round for AEK, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4 (Qualifying Round 2).
