The 4 groups of Eurobasket 2003 was drawn today in Sweden.

 

Group A: France, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia
Group B: Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Israel
Group C: Yugoslavia, Spain, Russia, Sweden
Group D: Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Ukraine

 

The teams will play one game against each other, and after 3 games the last team in each group will go home ranked 13-16. The first team in each group will qualify to the Quarter Finals while the teams in the 2nd and 3rd place will play against each other an Elimination game. The 2nd and 3rd in Group A will face 2nd and 3rd from Group B, and same goes for C and D.

The losing teams in the elimination game will go home ranked 9-12, while the winners advance to the Quarter Finals.
