it's clear, that FoKoPo
has succeeded to make the way back to Top level after five years break. FoKoPo
played last time in the Top League (Korisliiga) during the
season 2002-03 and has played 17 seasons in Korisliiga. Tonight FoKoPo crushed
YMCA Helsinki 103-75 in the last game of this season.

1.DIV. Round 24: The regular season is over. In the moral and real
Final YMCA Turku lost at home vs Karhu, Kauhajoki tonight 70-101 and
Kauhajoki will go
straight up to Top League (Korisliiga) first time ever! Kauhajoki
played six seasons in the 1. Div, and was actually already last
season very close to make it
to Top level. This season start was not promising much for Kauhajoki
(after seven rounds 4-3), but the last 17 contests have been all
winning from one victory to another. A couple player changes helped
and Kauhajoki was clearly the best Team in 1 div. Head Coach
Greg Gibson has done much for his Team to reach this kind of
goal. And now itīs reality.
Dainmon Gonner (198-F-80, college:

Maurice Horton (183-G-84, college:
Mount Olive) led Kauhajoki tonight with 28 and 19 pts. Kauhajoki
shot better, won the rebounds 51-38 and the biggest difference could
