Gostivar and Radovish seal Prva Liga promotion - Apr 14, 2017

Despite the fact that there is one more round before the Second League ends, the 18th round will just be a formality as Gostivar 2015 (15-1) and KK Radovish (13-4) managed to secure the first two positions that lead to promotion for the upcoming season.
Gostivar 2015 managed to fur full the favorite role they had since the beginning of the season, as the white and blues started the campaign with 11 wins in a row, while KK Radovish struggled in the beginning, but after managing to secure a new sponsor in mid season they turned their luck in their favor. With the signing of experienced players as Sinisa Avramovski (209-C-85, agency: Promotex), Marjan Mladenovic (180-PG-87), Zlatko Gocevski (205-C-82, agency: Interperformances) in addition of young prospects Andrej Cvetkovski (191-PG-96) and Goran Glavchev (191-G-93) among others the team managed to secure a 10 games winning streak including the win over the first placed Gostivar 2015 that brought them in the second place that is leading to promotion.

The key game for KK Radovish was played yesterday when they faced Karpos Sokoli 2000 Skopje away from home, their direct concurrent for the second place. On the wings of the team play KK Radovish started the game with a 24 points advantage after the first quarter (30-6) and set the path to victory. The rest of the game was only a formality where the home team managed to cut the difference to only 14 points (67-81) before the final buzzer.

As said before, the final round of the season will be only a formality as both the promotion and relegation teams are decided. At the bottom of the table, KK Angeli Skopje (2-14) and Fenix 2010 Skopje (0-16) have no chance in catching up to Teteks TTK Tetovo (6-10) and will have to fight their way back to Second League next season.
