First stage of the Macedonian top division for men is over. Feni Industri, MZT Skopje, Torus, Lirija, Rabotnicki and Kumanovo advanced to the second stage. Vardar, Kozuv and Strumica will fight for the survival. The second stage begins on Saturday.

MZT Skopje - Torus Skopje 72-63
Torus Skopje trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 14 after three quarters before a 23-18 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 63-72 at the end of the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Torus Skopje helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international center Todor Gecevski (209-77, agency: Interperformances) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Noah Dahlman (200-89, college: Wofford) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Dimitar Karadzovski (190-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and American power forward Justin Reynolds (204-88, college: Texas A&M-CC) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively.

Feni Indistrija - Lirija 92-72
The game without a history. Feni Indistrija led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded Lirija 39-23 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for international swingman Marko Simonovski (194-89, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian center Dusan Knezevic (207-80, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Feni Indistrija players scored in double figures. Feni Indistrija's coach Emil Rajkovic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montenegrin power forward Balsa Radunovic (207-80) replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Serbian center Toni Simic (210-76) added 15 points in the effort for Lirija.

Rabotnicki - Kozuv 78-70
Kozuv trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-78 at the end of the game. Fersped-Rabotnicki made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Strangely Kozuv outrebounded Fersped-Rabotnicki 34-19 including 23 on the defensive glass. Guard Enes Hadzibulic (196-81) scored 22 points and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jane Petrovski (181-87) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Fersped-Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Montenegrin center Miko Golubovic (206-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) with 26 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian guard Dusan Domovic (190-85) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds.

Vardar - Kumanovo 74-85
The game was mostly controlled by Kumanovo 2009. Vardar managed to win third quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kumanovo 2009 won last quarter 22-12. Kumanovo 2009 forced 23 Vardar turnovers. International guard Aleksandar Kostoski (188-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) scored 13 points and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian forward Dejan Mikic (201-86) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) during the contest. Five Kumanovo 2009 players scored in double figures. Kumanovo 2009's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Darko Kostevski with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Vladimir Georgievski (194-82) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds.

KK Feni Industries (Prva Liga) agreed terms with 20-year old FYR Macedonian international point guard Andrej Magdevski (192-96). He played last season at Partizan in Serbian KLS league. But in only one game he did not score anything and 1 assist. Magdevski also played 12 games in ABA League where he had just 2.1ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.0apg. MZT Skopje and Karpos Sokoli advanced into SuperCup Final. MZT Skopje beat Feni Industri 83:50 in the first semifinal clash.
