We bring you last week's top performances from FYR Macedonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Jeremiah Massey
Jeremiah Massey
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St., currently plays in EuroChallenge). He was the major contributor in a Krasnie Krilya's victory against the third-ranked Joensuun Kataja (1-2) 96-86 in the EuroChallenge in Tuesday night's game. Massey scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 28 minutes on the court. Krasnie Krilya Samara (3-0) is placed first in group B. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. There are only three games left until the end of the EuroChallenge Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Massey averages: 10.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.5apg, 3FGP: 28.6% and FT: 66.7% in the two games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Massey played for the FYR Macedonian senior national team three years ago. Strangely he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Bo McCalebb
Bo McCalebb
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Euroleague). McCalebb led his Turkish team Fenerbahce Ulker to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Un.Olimpija (2-5) 85-68 in the Euroleague last Thursday. He recorded 13 points and added 4 assists. Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (4-3) is placed third in group A. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. McCalebb has relatively good stats this season: 12.5ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.8apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 65.9%(29-44), 3FGP: 22.2% and FT: 84.6%. He is a naturalized American. McCalebb is in the roster of the FYR Macedonian senior national team. Apparently he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Pero Antic
Pero Antic
#3. The FYR Macedonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Pero Antic (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague). Antic contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Caja Laboral (1-5) 89-72 in the Euroleague on Friday night. He scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 20 minutes. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (5-2) is placed second in group C. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Antic's overall stats are: 5.7ppg, 3.9rpg, 2FGP: 38.9%, 3FGP: 19.0% and FT: 82.4% in the seven games. He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Bulgarian. Antic is also a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.

Vlado Ilievski
Vlado Ilievski
#4. Point guard Vlado Ilievski (190-80, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) led his Croatian team Cedevita to a double overtime (!!!) victory against the leader Zalgiris (5-1) 108-106 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. He scored 16 points. KK Cedevita Zagreb (2-5) is placed fifth in group C. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important. It's Ilievski's first season with the team. Ilievski's total stats this year are: 5.9ppg and 1.3apg. He is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Slovenian. Ilievski is also FYR Macedonian national team player.

Predrag Samardziski
Predrag Samardziski
#5. International center Predrag Samardziski (215-86, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Lithuania could not help Lietuvos rytas (1-6) in their last game. Despite his good performance the sixth-placed Lietuvos rytas was crushed 90-66 on the road by the leading Regal FC Barcelona in the group D of Euroleague. Samardziski recorded 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. It was Lietuvos rytas' fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. This year Samardziski's total stats are: 6.3ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.1bpg in the seven games. He plays currently for the FYR Macedonian national team.

Vojdan Stojanovski
Vojdan Stojanovski
#6. Guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, currently plays in Eurocup) led his Ukrainian team BC Donetsk to an overtime victory against the closely-ranked Trefl Sopot (0-3) 92-87 in the Eurocup on Wednesday night. Stojanovski scored 18 points, had 4 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Donetsk (1-2) is placed third in the Eurocup. There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. Stojanovski is currently fifth on the list of most steals. He has very reliable stats this season: 14.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.0apg and 2.3spg. Stojanovski is an international player who is currently on the senior FYR Macedonian National Team roster.

Marques Green
Marques Green
#7. Former international point guard Marques Green (167-82, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Vlado Ilievski and both played together in the last Euroleague game. Green contributed to a double overtime (!!!) Cedevita's victory against the leader Zalgiris (5-1) 108-106. He scored 8 points and added 3 passes in 26 minutes. Green has averaged so far 6.3ppg, 1.9rpg, 4.1apg and 1.6spg in the seven games. He is a naturalized American. Green used to play for the FYR Macedonian national team two years ago. Interesting that he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Bojan Krstevski
Bojan Krstevski
#8. Power forward Bojan Krstevski (205-89, currently plays in Greece) was not able to help the league outsider Kavala (0-6) in their game against Olympiacos (6-0) in the Greek A1. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. The bottom-ranked Kavala was crushed 113-62 in Athens by the leading Olympiacos. So far Kavala lost all six games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Krstevski has averaged so far 6.2ppg and 4.8rpg. He used to play for the FYR Macedonian U20 national team back in 2009.

The list of other players, who all have FYR Macedonian passport but never been selected to any of FYR Macedonian national teams:

#1. Cedi Osman (195-SG-95, currently plays in Turkey) led Pertevniyal to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Final Genclik (3-5) 92-73 in the Turkish TB2L (second division) last Wednesday. Osman scored 16 points. Pertevniyal Istanbul (4-4) is placed 11th in the TB2L. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Osman has relatively solid stats: 14.4ppg and 2.8rpg. He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Turkish. Despite Osman's FYR Macedonian passport, he currently plays for the Turkish U18 national team and is not eligible to play for the FYR Macedonian team.

#2. Tomcho Sokolov (205-F/C-84, agency: Prossin Sports Management, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TB2L (second division) could not help Pi Koleji (3-5) to beat Maliye Milli (6-2). Sokolov recorded 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 26 minutes. Pi Koleji was edged 88-85 in a derby game by the much higher-ranked (#4) Maliye Milli. It was Pi Koleji's third consecutive loss in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Sokolov has averaged so far 8.6ppg and 6.5rpg in the eight games he played so far.

#3. Jovan Zdravevski (197-F-80, currently plays in Iceland) was not able to help the league outsider one of league's weakest teams Stjarnan (5-2) in their game against Grindavik (5-2) in the Icelandic Dominos League. Zdravevski cannot count Thursday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 15 minutes. Stjarnan lost 86-90 on the road to the second-ranked Grindavik. It was Stjarnan's first loss after three consecutive victories. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Zdravevski is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Stjarnan's roster. Zdravevski has averaged so far 8.8ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.0apg in the six games. He is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Icelandic.
