#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Turkey). He led Fenerbahce Ulker to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Turk Telekom (2-5) crushing them 103-81 in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game.
McCalebb recorded 13 points and added 4 assists in 23 minutes on the court.
Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (6-1) is placed third in the TBL.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
McCalebb has relatively good stats this year: 14.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.0apg, 2FGP: 53.8% and FT: 88.2% in the two games he played so far.
He is a naturalized American.
McCalebb is currently a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#2. Second place goes to an international forward Pero Antic (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Greece). Antic contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Kolossos (3-4) 88-72 in the Greek A1 last Sunday.
He recorded 10 points.
Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (7-0) is placed first in the A1.
So far his team won all seven games in the Regular Season.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
This year Antic averages: 5.7ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 53.8%, 3FGP: 21.1% and FT: 72.7%.
He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Bulgarian.
Antic is in the roster of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.
#3. The FYR Macedonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Predrag Samardziski (215-86, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Lithuania. He could not help Lietuvos rytas (1-7) in their last game. Despite Samardziski's good performance the sixth-placed Lietuvos rytas was crushed 90-66 on the road by the leading Regal FC Barcelona in the group D of Euroleague.
He recorded 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes.
It was Lietuvos rytas' fifth consecutive loss in a row.
There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
This year Samardziski's overall stats are: 5.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 45.0% and FT: 56.3% in the eight games.
He is also a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.
#4. Guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Ukraine was not able to help one of league's weakest teams BC Donetsk (1-3) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Stojanovski's very good performance BC Donetsk was defeated 77-67 in Sopot by the higher-ranked Trefl (#3).
He was the top scorer with 15 points. Stojanovski also added 4 rebounds.
There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
It's Stojanovski's first season with the team.
This year he has relatively solid stats: 14.5ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.8spg.
Stojanovski is also FYR Macedonian national team player.
#5. Former international forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St., currently plays in EuroChallenge) managed to help Krasnie Krilya Samara in a victory against the closely-ranked Keravnos (2-2) crushing them 82-51 in the EuroChallenge last Wednesday.
He recorded 5 points in 30 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group B. Krasnie Krilya Samara (4-0) is placed first.
So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season.
There are only two games left until the end of the EuroChallenge Regular Season. So now every game will be important.
This year Massey's total stats are: 8.3ppg and 5.0rpg in the three games.
He is a naturalized American.
Massey used to play for the FYR Macedonian national team
three years ago.
Apparently he has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#6. Point guard Vlado Ilievski (190-80, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to secure a victory for Cedevita (2-6) in their game against Anadolu Efes (5-3) in the Euroleague.
Ilievski scored 7 points.
Cedevita (#5) was defeated 81-73 at home by the higher-ranked Anadolu Efes (#3) in the group C of Euroleague.
There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important.
Ilievski has averaged so far 6.0ppg, 1.1rpg and 1.3apg.
He is an international player who is currently on the senior FYR Macedonian National Team roster.
#7. Former international point guard Marques Green (167-82, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Vlado Ilievski. But that was another game of his team in Euroleague which we would like to mention.
Green couldn't help Cedevita (2-6) in their game against Armani Milano (3-5).
He recorded 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 24 minutes.
Cedevita (#5) lost 60-75 in Milano to the higher-ranked (#4) Armani in the group C of Euroleague.
Green has averaged so far 5.5ppg, 1.8rpg, 4.0apg and 1.4spg in the eight games.
He is a naturalized American.
Green used to play for the FYR Macedonian national team
two years ago.
Interesting that he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

#1.Cedi Osman (195-SG-95, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TB2L (second division) could not help Pertevniyal (4-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Osman's very good performance Pertevniyal was defeated 90-80 in a derby game by the leading Darussafaka.
He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Osman also added 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
Osman has reliable stats this season: 14.9ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg.
He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Turkish.
Despite Osman's FYR Macedonian passport, he currently plays for the Turkish U18 national team and is not eligible to play for the FYR Macedonian team.
#2.Jovan Zdravevski (197-F-80, currently plays in Iceland) led Stjarnan to a victory against the closely-ranked Skallagrimur 98-84 in the Icelandic Dominos League on Thursday night.
Zdravevski scored 12 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 26 minutes.
Stjarnan (6-2) is placed third in the Dominos League.
Zdravevski is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Stjarnan's roster.
He has averaged so far 9.3ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.1apg in the seven games he played so far.
Zdravevski is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Icelandic.
#3.Tomcho Sokolov (205-F/C-84, agency: Prossin Sports Management, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to help Pi Koleji (3-6) in their game against Selcuk Universitesi (8-1) in the Turkish TB2L (second division). He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones.
Sokolov scored only 2 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
Pi Koleji was crushed 86-54 on the road by the second-ranked Selcuk Universitesi.
It was Pi Koleji's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go.
Sokolov has averaged so far 7.9ppg and 6.7rpg.

American swingman Cade Davis (197-88, college: Oklahoma) scored 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and international center Todor Gecevski (209-77, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Serbian swingman Miladin Pekovic (197-83, agency: BeoExcell) responded with 17 points and 6 assists and Serbian power forward Slobodan Bozovic (207-79) scored 13 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kozuv's coach Marjan Srbinovski rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. #1. This week's number one is an international forward Pero Antic (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague). He contributed to Olympiacos' victory against the closely-ranked Real Madrid (10-4) 100-88 in the Euroleague in Sunday night's game.
Antic recorded 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 24 minutes on the court.
It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group F. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (9-5) is placed second.
This year Antic averages: 6.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 2FGP: 51.5%, 3FGP: 26.1% and FT: 65.9% in the 31 games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Bulgarian.

He led Armani Milano to an overtime victory against the closely-ranked Montepaschi Siena (18-12) 81-79 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday.
Green scored 11 points and added 3 passes in 31 minutes.
EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (19-11) is placed fourth in the SerieA.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Green belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4 with 4.5apg.
This year he also averages: 7.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 48.7%, 3FGP: 48.7%(38-78) and FT: 82.4% in the 22 games.
Green is a naturalized American.
He played for the FYR Macedonian national team three years ago.
Apparently Green has never played in FYR Macedonia.

He scored 6 points and added 4 passes.
The third-placed Cedevita was edged 85-84 in a derby game by the leading Cibona in the Places 1-8 group.
They ended the series of five consecutive victories.
Ilievski's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical.
It's Ilievski's first season with the team.
His overall stats this year are: 5.4ppg and 2.3apg.
Ilievski is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Slovenian.
He is also FYR Macedonian national team player.

Despite his very good performance the league leader Gravelines-Dunkerque was defeated in an overtime 101-95 on the road by the much lower-ranked JSF Nanterre (#8).
Winston was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 4 steals.
Winston has relatively good stats this season: 12.6ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.5apg.
He is a naturalized American.
Strangely Winston has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#2.Darius Washington (188-PG-85, college: Memphis, currently plays in France), who plays in the French ProA was not able to help Le Mans (16-14) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Le Mans was badly defeated 69-52 in Villeurbanne by the higher-ranked ASVEL Lyon- Basket (#3).
Washington was the top scorer with 19 points.
Washington is currently second on the list of most steals.
He has individually a very good season with high stats. Washington averages: 15.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.8apg and 2.0spg.
He is a naturalized American.
Apparently Washington has never played in FYR Macedonia.
