Prva Liga is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 7 rounds left.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Kumanovo 2009 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Kumanovo 2009 defeated 3rd placed ABA Strumica at home 95-86. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-18. But ABA Strumica won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kumanovo 2009 won last quarter 29-21. Kumanovo 2009 outrebounded ABA Strumica 32-18 including 19 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by ABA Strumica helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-G-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Serbian center Uros Lukovic (212-89) contributed with 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Serbian forward Milan Janjusevic (196-83) answered with 25 points and 6 rebounds for ABA Strumica. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Feni Indistrija and Kozuv. ABA Strumica at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Rabotnicki and Lirija. ABA Strumica will play next round against Pelister Bitola trying to get back on the winning streak. Kumanovo 2009 will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Vardar in Skopje.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Feni Indistrija (5-2) in Kavadarci. Hosts were defeated by Kozuv (5-2) 79-73.
