The most important game in the last round took place in Kavadarci between third ranked Feni Indistrija (5-3) and fourth ranked Lirija (5-3) on Saturday night. Feni Indistrija was defeated by Lirija at home 91-81. Feni Indistrija trailed 46-44 at halftime, rallying from a 30-15 deficit at the end of first quarter to trim the gap. 26 personal fouls committed by Feni Indistrija helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Dime Tasovski (200-F-80) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Aleksandar Ugrinovski who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Serbian center Dusan Knezevic (207-80, agency: BeoExcell) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Feni Indistrija's coach Emil Rajkovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lirija moved-up to third place, which they share with Feni Indistrija and ABA Strumica. Lirija's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje Fersped-Rabotnicki.

The winners were led by forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) who scored that evening 22 points and 8 rebounds and Marjan Mladenovic supported him with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Kumanovo 2009's coach Ljubislav Lukovic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds by Dragan Kerkez did not help to save the game for Vardar. Kumanovo 2009 have a solid three-game winning streak. Kumanovo 2009 maintains first position with 6-2 record, which they share with Kozuv. Vardar lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with seven games lost. Kumanovo 2009 will play against league's second-placed Kozuv in Gevgelija in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vardar will play at home against ABA Strumica (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The best player for the winners was Milan Janjusevic who scored 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. ABA Strumica's coach Zlatko Zetov used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Daniel Zaharievski produced 17 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. ABA Strumica moved-up to third place, which they share with Feni Indistrija and Lirija. Pelister Bitola at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. ABA Strumica will meet Vardar (#7) in the next round. Pelister Bitola will play against Feni Indistrija in Kavadarci and hopes to get finally their first victory.

The most impressive stats of the last round was 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by Nemanja Jelesijevic of Rabotnicki.

Rabotnicki - Kozuv 84-92

The game in Skopje was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Kozuv (6-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Fersped-Rabotnicki (4-4). Kozuv managed to secure a 8-point victory 92-84. Fersped-Rabotnicki was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 31-18 charge of Kozuv, which allowed them to win the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Serbian power forward Slobodan Bozovic (207-79) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian point guard Igor Mijajlovic (193-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 assists for the winners. Serbian power forward Nemanja Jelesijevic (210-79) replied with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and naturalized Serbian forward Nenad Zivcevic (204-87, agency: New Trend Agency) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Fersped-Rabotnicki. Bottom-ranked Pelister Bitola (0-8) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to fifth ranked ABA Strumica (5-3) 68-55 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 43-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. ABA Strumica dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Pelister Bitola's 22. The best player for the winners was Serbian forward Milan Janjusevic (196-83) who scored 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Eftim Bogoev (185-80) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. Five ABA Strumica players scored in double figures. ABA Strumica's coach Zlatko Zetov used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (A Division) agreed terms with 25-year old American point guard Kendrick Perry (183-79kg-92, college: Youngstown State). He played last season at Karpos Sokoli in FYR Macedonian Prva Liga. Perry managed to play in three leagues last year. In 18 Prva Liga games he had 14.9ppg, 4.1rpg, 4.3apg (top 5) and 1.8spg (leader !!!). He also played 26 games in ABA League where he recorded 10.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 4.5apg and 1.6spg.
