We bring you last week's top performances from FYR Macedonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Bo McCalebb
Bo McCalebb
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Turkey). He led Fenerbahce Ulker to a victory over the league outsider Hacettepe (2-9) crushing them 92-59 in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game. McCalebb was MVP of the game. He recorded 19 points and had 3 steals in 25 minutes on the court. Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (10-1) is placed first in the TBL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. It's McCalebb's first season with the team. McCalebb has relatively good stats this year: 14.3ppg, 1.8rpg, 3.3apg, 2FGP: 54.8% and FT: 86.2% in the six games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. McCalebb is currently a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Marques Green
Marques Green
#2. Second place goes to former international point guard Marques Green (167-82, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Adriatic League). Green contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams HKK Siroki WWin (4-10) crushing them 90-69 in the Adriatic League last Monday. He recorded 15 points, 5 assists and 6 steals. KK Cedevita Zagreb (9-5) is placed third in the Adriatic League. Green belongs to league's most steals and is ranked #3. This season he averages: 6.4ppg, 1.4rpg, 2.8apg, 1.9spg, 2FGP: 21.9%, 3FGP: 51.1%(23-45) and FT: 75.0%. Green is a naturalized American. He played for the FYR Macedonian national team in 2010. Apparently Green has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Predrag Samardziski
Predrag Samardziski
#3. The FYR Macedonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Predrag Samardziski (215-86, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in VTB United League). He contributed to a Lietuvos rytas' victory against the eighth-ranked Azovmash (2-7) 94-88 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. Samardziski scored 9 points in 17 minutes. Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (5-4) is placed fifth in group A. This year Samardziski's overall stats are: 5.3ppg, 3.8rpg, 2FGP: 43.6% and FT: 47.1% in the eight games. He is also a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.

Vojdan Stojanovski
Vojdan Stojanovski
#4. Guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, currently plays in VTB United League) was the major contributor in a BC Donetsk's victory against the third-ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (6-2) 63-59 in the VTB United League last Monday. He scored 14 points (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 27 minutes. BC Donetsk (4-5) is placed seventh in group A. This year Stojanovski's total stats are: 9.8ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg in the nine games. He is also FYR Macedonian national team player.

Vlado Ilievski
Vlado Ilievski
#5. International point guard Vlado Ilievski (190-80, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Marques Green. But that was another game of his team in Euroleague which we would like to mention. Ilievski, who plays in Croatia could not help Cedevita to beat Caja Laboral (0-0). He recorded 5 points. The sixth-placed Cedevita was crushed 97-70 on the road by the higher-ranked Caja Laboral (#4) in the group _ of Euroleague. Ilievski has averaged so far 6.7ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.2apg. He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Slovenian. Ilievski plays currently for the FYR Macedonian national team.

Jeremiah Massey
Jeremiah Massey
#6. Forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St., currently plays in VTB United League) managed to help Krasnie Krilya Samara in a victory against the leader Khimky (7-2) 76-67 in the VTB United League in Monday night's game. He scored only 1 points in 14 minutes. Krasnie Krilya Samara (6-3) is placed fourth in group A. Massey has averaged so far 6.0ppg and 4.8rpg in the five games. He is a naturalized American. Massey is a former international player as he played for the FYR Macedonian senior team three years ago. Interesting that he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Bojan Krstevski
Bojan Krstevski
#7. Former U20 international power forward Bojan Krstevski (205-89, currently plays in Greece) was not able to help Kavala (2-8) in their game against Panathinaikos (8-2) in the Greek A1. He cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Krstevski recorded only 2 points in 5 minutes on the court. Kavala was crushed 97-71 at home by the second-ranked Panathinaikos. Krstevski has averaged so far 4.4ppg and 3.0rpg in the 10 games. He used to play for the FYR Macedonian U20 national team three years ago.

The list of other players, who all have FYR Macedonian passport but never been selected to any of FYR Macedonian national teams:

#1. Michael Wilkinson (204-F-81, agency: Interperformances, college: Wisconsin, currently plays in VTB United League) led his Russian team Unics Kazan to a victory against the ninth-ranked PGE Turow (2-7) 69-64 in the VTB United League in Sunday night's game. Wilkinson scored 13 points. Unics Kazan (7-2) is placed second in group A. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Wilkinson's total stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.0apg. He is a naturalized American. Interesting that Wilkinson has never played in FYR Macedonia.

#2. Cedi Osman (195-SG-95, currently plays in Turkey) led Pertevniyal to a victory over the fourth-ranked Izmir BSB (5-3) crushing them 84-57 in the Turkish TB2L (second division) last Saturday. Osman was the best player in that game. He recorded 18 points. Pertevniyal Istanbul (6-7) is placed ninth in the TB2L. This season Osman has relatively solid stats: 13.5ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.1spg. He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Turkish. Despite Osman's FYR Macedonian passport, he currently plays for the Turkish U18 national team and is not eligible to play for the FYR Macedonian team.

#3. Jovan Zdravevski (197-F-80, currently plays in Iceland) contributed to an overtime Stjarnan's victory against the closely-ranked KFI (3-1) 107-101 in the Icelandic Dominos League on Thursday night. Zdravevski recorded 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Stjarnan (5-1) is placed second in the Dominos League. Zdravevski is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Stjarnan's roster. He has averaged so far 9.4ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.9apg in the nine games he played so far. Zdravevski is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Icelandic.

#4. Tomcho Sokolov (205-F/C-84, agency: Prossin Sports Management, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TB2L (second division) could not help Pi Koleji (3-10) to beat Final Genclik (6-7). He recorded 9 points. But Pi Koleji was badly defeated 98-81 on the road by the higher-ranked Final Genclik (#13). It was Pi Koleji's eighth consecutive loss in a row. Sokolov has averaged so far 7.8ppg and 6.2rpg.
