We bring you last week's top performances from FYR Macedonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Turkey. He could not help Fenerbahce Ulker (0-3) in their last game. Despite McCalebb's very good performance the seventh-placed Fenerbahce Ulker lost 92-98 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Montepaschi Siena in the group F of Euroleague.
He was the second best scorer with 17 points. McCalebb also added 3 passes in 28 minutes on the court.
So far Fenerbahce Ulker lost all three games in the Top 16.
It's McCalebb's first season with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year: 12.1ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.3apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 56.3%(49-87), 3FGP: 25.8% and FT: 82.1% in the 12 games he played so far.
McCalebb is a naturalized American.
He is currently a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team. Strangely McCalebb has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#2. Second place goes to an international forward Pero Antic (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Greece). He contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Panelefsiniakos (2-9) 94-76 in the Greek A1 last Sunday.
Antic scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (11-0) is placed first in the A1.
So far his team won all eleven games in the Regular Season.
This season Antic averages: 6.0ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 55.6%(10-18), 3FGP: 28.0% and FT: 72.2%.
He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Bulgarian.
Antic is in the roster of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.
#3. The FYR Macedonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, currently plays in Ukraine). He led BC Donetsk to a victory over the 11th-ranked DniproAzot (9-14) 77-61 in the Ukrainian Superleague on Friday night.
Stojanovski was MVP of the game. He scored 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes.
BC Donetsk (13-11) is placed seventh in the Superleague.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
This year Stojanovski has relatively solid stats: 10.8ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.1apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 52.4%, 3FGP: 40.8% and FT: 79.5% in the 17 games.
He is also a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.
#4. Point guard Marques Green (167-82, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA was not able to help Armani Milano (7-7) in their last game. Despite his good performance Armani Milano lost 76-84 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#4) Cantu.
Green scored 10 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 22 minutes. It was his first game for Armani Milano this season.
Green is a naturalized American.
He used to play for the FYR Macedonian national team
back in 2010. Apparently Green has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#5. An experienced international point guard Vlado Ilievski (190-80, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Adriatic League) was not able to secure a victory for Cedevita (9-7) in their game against KK Split (7-9) in the Adriatic League.
He recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Cedevita was edged 75-72 at home by the lower-ranked KK Split (#9).
Ilievski's overall stats this season are: 4.4ppg, 1.1rpg and 1.6apg.
He is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Slovenian.
Ilievski plays currently for the FYR Macedonian national team.
#6. Power forward Bojan Krstevski (205-89, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Greece) managed to help Enosi Kalathosfairisis Kavalas in a victory against the closely-ranked Kolossos (4-7) 86-72 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night.
Krstevski scored 5 points in 6 minutes.
Enosi Kalathosfairisis Kavalas (3-8) is placed 12th in the A1.
This year Krstevski's overall stats are: 4.5ppg and 2.8rpg in the 11 games.
He is a former U20 international player as he played for the FYR Macedonian team four years ago.
The list of other players, who all have FYR Macedonian passport but never been selected to any of FYR Macedonian national teams:
#1.Michael Wilkinson (204-F-81, agency: Interperformances, college: Wisconsin, currently plays in Eurocup) led his Russian team Unics Kazan to a victory against the fourth-ranked Galatasaray (0-1) 80-74 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game.
Wilkinson recorded 14 points.
Unics Kazan (1-0) is placed first in group L.
Wilkinson has reliable stats this season: 15.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.5spg.
He is a naturalized American.
Apparently Wilkinson has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#2. Experienced Jovan Zdravevski (197-F-80, currently plays in Iceland) led Stjarnan to a victory over the ninth-ranked Fjolnir (4-7) 95-87 in the Icelandic Dominos League in Friday night's game.
He was the best player in that game. Zdravevski scored 21 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 27 minutes.
Stjarnan (5-1) is placed second in the Dominos League.
Zdravevski is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Stjarnan's roster.
He has reliable stats this season: 10.6ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.9apg in the 10 games he played so far.
Zdravevski has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Icelandic.
#3.Darius Washington (188-PG-85, college: Memphis, currently plays in Israel) managed to help Hapoel Eilat to win against the seventh-ranked Ironi Ashkelon (5-7) 103-85 in the Israeli Winner League last Sunday.
He scored only 2 points and added 3 passes. It was his first game for Hapoel Eilat this season.
His team is placed second in the Winner League.
Washington is a naturalized American.
Interesting that he has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#4.Cedi Osman (195-SG-95, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TB2L (second division) could not help Pertevniyal (6-10) to beat Akhisar Bld (10-6).
Osman recorded 5 points.
Pertevniyal was defeated 73-68 on the road by the higher-ranked Akhisar Bld (#7).
It was Pertevniyal's third consecutive loss in a row.
Osman has reliable stats this season: 13.3ppg and 3.6rpg.
He is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Turkish.

American swingman Cade Davis (197-88, college: Oklahoma) scored 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and international center Todor Gecevski (209-77, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Serbian swingman Miladin Pekovic (197-83, agency: BeoExcell) responded with 17 points and 6 assists and Serbian power forward Slobodan Bozovic (207-79) scored 13 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kozuv's coach Marjan Srbinovski rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Here is the weekly review of the top performing FYR Macedonian players, who play currently abroad. This week's number one is an international forward Pero Antic (210-82, agency: Beo Basket). Here is the weekly review of the top performing FYR Macedonian players, who play currently abroad.
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Pero Antic (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague). He contributed to Olympiacos' victory against the closely-ranked Real Madrid (10-4) 100-88 in the Euroleague in Sunday night's game.
Antic recorded 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 24 minutes on the court.
It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group F. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (9-5) is placed second.
This year Antic averages: 6.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 2FGP: 51.5%, 3FGP: 26.1% and FT: 65.9% in the 31 games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Bulgarian.
Antic is currently a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.

He led Armani Milano to an overtime victory against the closely-ranked Montepaschi Siena (18-12) 81-79 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday.
Green scored 11 points and added 3 passes in 31 minutes.
EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (19-11) is placed fourth in the SerieA.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Green belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4 with 4.5apg.
This year he also averages: 7.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 48.7%, 3FGP: 48.7%(38-78) and FT: 82.4% in the 22 games.
Green is a naturalized American.

The third-placed Cedevita was edged 85-84 in a derby game by the leading Cibona in the Places 1-8 group.
They ended the series of five consecutive victories.
Ilievski's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical.
It's Ilievski's first season with the team.
His overall stats this year are: 5.4ppg and 2.3apg.
Ilievski is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Slovenian.
He is also FYR Macedonian national team player.

#1.Kennedy Winston (198-F/G-84, college: Alabama, currently plays in France), who plays in the French ProA could not help Gravelines-Dunkerque (21-9) in their last game on Monday. Despite his very good performance the league leader Gravelines-Dunkerque was defeated in an overtime 101-95 on the road by the much lower-ranked JSF Nanterre (#8).
Winston was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 4 steals.
Winston has relatively good stats this season: 12.6ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.5apg.
He is a naturalized American.
Strangely Winston has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#2.Darius Washington (188-PG-85, college: Memphis, currently plays in France), who plays in the French ProA was not able to help Le Mans (16-14) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Le Mans was badly defeated 69-52 in Villeurbanne by the higher-ranked ASVEL Lyon- Basket (#3).
Washington was the top scorer with 19 points.
Washington is currently second on the list of most steals.
He has individually a very good season with high stats. Washington averages: 15.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.8apg and 2.0spg.
He is a naturalized American.
Apparently Washington has never played in FYR Macedonia.
