24-year old Bojan Trajkovski (206-C/F-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) had an amazing evening in the last round for Feni Indistrija and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11. He had a double-double of 28 points and 17 rebounds, while his team edged out Kumanovo (#4, 6-5) in overtime 93-91. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Feni Indistrija maintains the 3rd position in FYR Macedonian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Feni Indistrija will need more victories to improve their 8-3 record. In the team's last game Trajkovski had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Feni Indistrija's top player in his first season with the team. Trajkovski has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 8.3rpg) and averages solid 57.4% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Uros Lukovic (212-C-89) of Kumanovo. He is Serbian center in his first season at Kumanovo. In the last game Lukovic recorded impressive double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Kumanovo was edged in overtime by slightly higher-ranked Feni Indistrija (#3, 8-3) 93-91. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Kumanovo still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 6-5 record is not bad at all. Lukovic is a newcomer at Kumanovo and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.8ppg (#7). He also registered 9.8 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to another Kumanovo's star - guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-G-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza). Kostoski got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for four assists. Despite Kostoski's great performance Kumanovo lost 91-93in overtime to #3 ranked Feni Indistrija. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Kumanovo needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Kostoski has a great season in FYR Macedonia. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.2ppg (best scorer) and assists with 3.5apg (5th best).
Other top performing players last week: 4. Balsa Radunovic (207-F/C-80) of Lirija - 15 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists 5. Mohammed Abukar (208-F-85) of Rabotnicki - 24 points and 4 rebounds 6. Aleksandar Kalanj (208-C-86) of Pelister Bitola - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists 7. John Sharper (186-PG-84) of Rabotnicki - 17 points and 4 assists 8. Nikola Vucurovic (200-G/F-80) of Feni Indistrija - 12 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists 9. Dime Tasovski (200-F-80) of Lirija - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists 10. Zarko Djuric (198-F-89) of Vardar - 12 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of FYR Macedonians who are currently playing abroad.
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Pero Antic (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Greece). He contributed to Olympiacos' victory against the 12th-ranked Ilysiakos (7-19) 81-70 in a derby game in the Greek A1 in Thursday night's game.
Antic scored 8 points in 22 minutes on the court.
Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (25-1) is placed first in the A1.
It was his team's 12th consecutive victory in a row.
They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
This year Antic averages: 6.3ppg, 3.1rpg, 2FGP: 57.1%(28-49), 3FGP: 31.1% and FT: 70.2% in the 23 games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Bulgarian.
Antic is currently a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. He could not help Fenerbahce Ulker (24-6) in their last game on Saturday. Despite McCalebb's good performance Fenerbahce Ulker was defeated 74-68 on the road by the lower-ranked Karsiyaka (#5).
He was the second best scorer with 12 points. McCalebb also added 4 assists and 4 steals.
McCalebb belongs to league's most steals and is ranked #5.
He has very reliable stats this season: 13.3ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.2apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 55.7%(97-174), 3FGP: 35.9% and FT: 81.2%.
McCalebb is a naturalized American.
He is in the roster of the FYR Macedonian senior national team. Strangely McCalebb has never played in FYR Macedonia.
#3. The FYR Macedonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international point guard Vlado Ilievski (190-80, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Croatia). Ilievski contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked KK Zadar (11-3) crushing them 91-61 in the Croatian A1 in Wednesday night's game.
He scored 6 points and added 5 passes.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-8. KK Cedevita Zagreb (11-3) is placed second.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Ilievski's first season with the team.
Ilievski's overall stats this year are: 5.5ppg, 2.5apg, 3FGP: 48.5%(16-33) and FT: 84.6%.
He is another player who holds two passports: FYR Macedonian and Slovenian.
Ilievski is also a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.
#4. Point guard Marques Green (167-82, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Armani Milano (19-11) in their game against Montepaschi Siena (18-12) in the Italian SerieA.
He scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 29 minutes.
Armani Milano lost 66-72 in Siena to the lower-ranked (#5) Montepaschi.
Green belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #5 with 4.3apg.
This year he also averages: 7.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4spg in the 24 games.
Green is a naturalized American.
He used to play for the FYR Macedonian national team
back in 2010. Apparently Green has never played in FYR Macedonia.
One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has FYR Macedonian passport:
#1.Darius Washington (188-PG-85, college: Memphis, currently plays in France) led Le Mans to a victory over the closely-ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (18-12) 63-55 in the French ProA on Thursday night.
He was MVP of the game. Washington scored 11 points in 30 minutes.
Le Mans Sarthe Basket (16-14) is placed sixth in the ProA.
Washington is currently second on the list of most steals with 2.0spg.
This year his other stats are: 15.1ppg, 3.7rpg and 3.8apg in the 14 games he played so far.
Washington is a naturalized American.
Apparently he has never played in FYR Macedonia.
