Top ranked Rabotnicki (9-2) recorded its second loss in Gevgelija on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked Kozuv (6-4) 77-56. The game without a history. Kozuv led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kozuv outrebounded Rabotnicki 46-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kenyon McNeaill (185-91, college: Louisiana Tech) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian Milivoje Mijovic (200-91) chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds. Kozuv's coach Igor Mihajlovski felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) produced 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Kozuv maintains fourth place with 6-4 record. Rabotnicki at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Kozuv are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Vardar (#8) in Skopje in the next round. Rabotnicki will play at home against Ohrid AV (#7) and is hoping to win this game.

Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Feni Industries have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-1 record having just one point less than leader Rabotnicki. Newly promoted Vardar still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Feni Industries will play against Kumanovo (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Vardar will play against Kozuv (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

It was a great evening for Eftim Bogoev who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Milojko Vasilic responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Ohrid AV's coach Petar Chochoroski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Strumica maintains sixth place with 4-6 record. Ohrid AV lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Strumica will meet at home higher ranked Pelister Bitola (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ohrid AV will play against the league's leader Rabotnicki in Skopje and hope to secure a win.
The game in Bitola was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Kumanovo (7-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Pelister Bitola (4-7). Kumanovo did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 81-64. It was an exceptional evening for Dimitar Karadzovski who led the winners and scored 20 points and 8 assists. Kumanovo's coach Marijan Srbinovski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Kumanovo maintains third place with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Rabotnicki. Pelister Bitola lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. Kumanovo's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Feni Industries in Kavadarci and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pelister Bitola will play on the road against Strumica in Strumica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Ohrid AV - Strumica 60-64

The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning next two quarters and won the game by 4 points. The game in Bitola was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Kumanovo (7-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Pelister Bitola (4-7). Kumanovo did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 81-64. The game was mostly controlled by Kumanovo. Pelister Bitola was better in second period 15-14. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Dimitar Karadzovski (190-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 8 assists. Serbian power forward Danilo Mijatovic (206-83) accounted for 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Montenegrin center Miko Golubovic (206-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) came up with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Gjorgi Anakievski (185-85) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Pelister Bitola in the defeat. Bottom-ranked Vardar (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 77-63 loss to second ranked Feni Industries (10-1) in Kavadarci.
