The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Pantic played in the final of Bulgarian League in 2013. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League 2nd Team back in 2013. Pantic is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Bosnia (Igokea), Cyprus (Keravnos), Germany, Greece (Kolossos H Hotels and AE Ikaros Kallitheas), Ukraine (Dnipro and Kryvbas), Bulgaria (Levski), Romania (Oradea) and Serbia (Borac, Vrsac and Radnicki 1950 Kragujevac). The cadet selection of KK Vardar Skopje last week took part of a strong international tournament for youth players called "RHO International Meeting - 2017" that was held in Milano, Italy with the participation of Emporio Armani, Bergamo, Khimik and Victor RHO among others. KK Vardar Skopje started their path to the finals with a win over the Ukrainian cadet chamapion Khimik, following to a defeat by Pallacanestro Varese. However, the 59 point difference win over Victor RHO (115-56) boosted Vardar to the semifinals where they faced Bergamo. The 66-62 win gave Aleksandar Jovancev's team a spot in the finals and a fight for the trophy against Emporio Armani. The game was decided in the final minutes as the Italian team managed to grab a 56-54 win and defend the trophy once again.
Just short after his debut for the senior team of KK Vardar Skopje, one of the Macedonian basketball biggest hopes, Luka Savicevic got the MVP award on the Victor Rho International tournament and became the third Macedonian to seize this award after Predrag Samardziski and Luka Naumovski. His excellent performance throughout the tournament earned him a place among starts as Luigi Datome, Marco Belinelli, Novica Velickovic and Daniele Cinciarini.
Despite not securing the gold medal KK Vardar Skopje had a successful journey in Italy that brought joy in the Macedonian side. Coach Jovancev didn't hide his satisfaction with the team's performance and praised his boys.
"We played a really good tournament, receiving congratulations from many prominent basketball experts from Italy. The results achieved on an international level, once again confirms the potential that this team holds." - said the Vardar coach for Ekipa.mk
For KK Vardar Skopje this was a very successful week on more than one field as the 2003 generation managed to win the gold medal on a tournament held in Bitola, which only confirms the excellent work with the development of young players in this team.

Experienced Serbian Nenad Misanovic (217-C-84) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Rabotnicki and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9 (Second Stage). The 32-year old center had a double-double of 23 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat Kozuv (#6, 2-7) 82-75. Rabotnicki is placed at 2nd position in FYR Macedonian Prva Liga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Rabotnicki will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. Misanovic turned to be Rabotnicki's top player in his first season with the team. Misanovic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 13.4ppg), rebounds (5th best: 6.6rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 69.7% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 30-year old Croatian center Jure Lalic (211-C-86) of league's best team MZT Skopje. Lalic impressed basketball fans with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Of course he led MZT Skopje to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Karpos Sokoli (#3, 6-3) 83-61. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. MZT Skopje consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team lost just one game this Second Stage, while they won 8 matches. Lalic is a newcomer at MZT Skopje and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was international forward Bojan Krstevski (206-F/C-89, agency: Interperformances) of Kozuv (#6). Krstevski scored 18 points. Despite Krstevski's great performance Kozuv lost 75-82 to the higher-ranked Rabotnicki (#2, 6-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Kozuv can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Krstevski he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Krstevski has a very solid season. In 21 games in FYR Macedonia he scored 8.6ppg.
Other top performing players last week: 4. Milivoje Mijovic (200-PF-91) of Kozuv - 13 points and 10 rebounds 5. Djordje Drenovac (201-G/F-92) of MZT Skopje - 17 points and 8 rebounds 6. Jane Petrovski (181-PG-87) of Feni Industries - 17 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists 7. Yonel Brown (175-PG-94) of Kumanovo - 10 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists 8. Kendrick Perry (183-PG-92) of Karpos Sokoli - 16 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists 9. Marjan Janevski (203-F-88) of Kumanovo - 14 points and 7 rebounds 10. Branislav Djekic (209-F/C-91) of Feni Industries - 13 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
