The Second Stage in Prva Liga just started. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with derby games, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Karpos Sokoli defeated Rabotnicki in Skopje 94-90. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-90. Karpos Sokoli made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Bojan Trajkovski (208-88, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Serbian power forward Dragan Labovic (207-87, agency: Alti Sport) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Dime Tasovski (200-80) answered with 37 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for Rabotnicki. Rabotnicki will play next round against strong Kumanovo trying to get back on the winning streak. Karpos Sokoli will try to continue on its current victory against Feni Industries in Kavadarci.
Feni Industries (0-1) recorded a loss on the court of MZT Skopje. Visitors were rolled over by MZT Skopje 86-59. Serbian swingman Djordje Drenovac (201-92) stepped up and scored 22 points for the winners and Charlon Kloof chipped in 14 points. MZT Skopje's coach Ante Nazor felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Boban Stajic (185-93) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds. MZT Skopje will play against Kozuv (#4) in Gevgelija in the next round. Feni Industries will play at home against Karpos Sokoli to get more than just one victory in their record.
An interesting game was also a 17-point home loss of Pelister Bitola in a game versus undefeated Ohrid AV (#7) 83-66. Devin Brooks nailed 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. Ohrid AV's coach Petar Chochoroski used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Gjorgi Anakievski came up with 18 points for Pelister Bitola in the defeat. Ohrid AV will meet at home Strumica (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pelister Bitola will play against Vardar in Skopje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of Kozuv (0-1) against Kumanovo (1-0) on Saturday night. Visiting Kozuv was defeated by Kumanovo in a tough game in Kumanovo 103-108. Marjan Janevski fired 29 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Kumanovo's next round opponent will be Rabotnicki (#6) in Skopje. Kozuv will play at home against MZT Skopje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Strumica. Strumica (1-0) saved a 2-point victory at home edging Vardar (0-1) 63-61 on Saturday evening. It was a very good performance for Vladimir Brckov who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. Vardar's coach Gjorgi Kocov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Strumica will face Ohrid AV (#8) on the road in the next round. Vardar will play against Pelister Bitola and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

MZT Skopje - Feni Industries 86-59

Feni Industries (0-1) recorded a loss on the court of MZT Skopje. Visitors were rolled over by MZT Skopje 86-59. The game without a history. MZT Skopje led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Serbian swingman Djordje Drenovac (201-92) stepped up and scored 22 points for the winners and Surinamese-Dutch guard Charlon Kloof (190-90, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 14 points. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. MZT Skopje's coach Ante Nazor felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Very important is a road loss of Kozuv (0-1) against Kumanovo (1-0) on Saturday night. Visiting Kozuv was defeated by Kumanovo in a tough game in Kumanovo 103-108. Kumanovo dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kozuv's 30 and made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Kozuv helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) fired 29 points and 7 rebounds for the winners.
