There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Second Stage in Prva Liga.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Kumanovo (1-1) in Skopje on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Rabotnicki (1-1) 87-69. The game was mostly controlled by Rabotnicki. Kumanovo managed to win second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rabotnicki shot 60.7 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Serbian center Nenad Misanovic (217-84) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Dime Tasovski (200-80) chipped in 16 points during the contest. Rabotnicki's coach Marin Dokuzovski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) responded with 23 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Rabotnicki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena MZT Skopje.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Gevgelija. host Kozuv (0-2) lost to MZT Skopje (2-0) 77-71. Croatian center Jure Lalic (211-86) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Djordje Drenovac supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Even 19 points and 4 assists by American point guard Kenyon McNeaill (185-91, college: Louisiana Tech) did not help to save the game for Kozuv. MZT Skopje's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje Rabotnicki.
The game in Kavadarci was also quite interesting. Karpos Sokoli (2-0) played at the court of Feni Industries (0-2). Karpos Sokoli defeated Feni Industries 90-78 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Kendrick Perry who scored 17 points and 5 assists. Mladen Pantic produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the hosts. Karpos Sokoli will meet Kumanovo (#4) on the road in the next round. Feni Industries will play against Kozuv in Gevgelija and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Ohrid was also worth to mention about. Strumica (1-1) played at the court of Ohrid AV (2-0). Ohrid AV managed to secure a 4-point victory 81-77. Devin Brooks orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ohrid AV's next round opponent will be Vardar (#10) in Skopje. Strumica will play at home against Pelister Bitola and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In Liga Pelister Bitola won against Vardar on the opponent's court 85-81.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 23 points and 8 assists by Phil Hawkins of Pelister Bitola.

The game in Kavadarci was also quite interesting. Karpos Sokoli (2-0) played at the court of Feni Industries (0-2). Karpos Sokoli defeated Feni Industries 90-78 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-78. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kendrick Perry (183-92, college: Youngstown St.) who scored 17 points and 5 assists. Serbian power forward Dragan Labovic (207-87, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five Karpos Sokoli players scored in double figures. Serbian center Mladen Pantic (209-82, agency: 011 Sports) produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and the former international power forward Kiril Nikolovski (210-88) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. Karpos Sokoli will meet Kumanovo (#4) on the road in the next round. Feni Industries will play against Kozuv in Gevgelija and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Gevgelija. host Kozuv (0-2) lost to MZT Skopje (2-0) 77-71. It looked good early as Kozuv took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then MZT Skopje took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 6 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kozuv's 36. Croatian center Jure Lalic (211-86) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Serbian swingman Djordje Drenovac (201-92) supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds. But Vardar was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Bitola 85-81. 32 personal fouls committed by Vardar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Phil Hawkins (186-90, college: Texas St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 8 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Serbian forward Milos Andrejevic (198-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Dejan Srbinovski (186-97) replied with 17 points and 5 assists and swingman Damjan Robev (192-97) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Vardar. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Vardar's coach Gjorgi Kocov tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Pelister Bitola's next round opponent will be Strumica (#9) in Strumica. Vardar will play on the road against Ohrid AV and hope to win that game.

Ohrid AV led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ohrid AV outrebounded Strumica 47-27 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Devin Brooks (186-92, college: Creighton) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import center Kaylen Shane (208-93, college: N.Mexico Highlands, agency: Stealth Sport) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Serbian forward Petar Jokic (201-91) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Vladimir Brckov (200-89, agency: BeoBasket) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Strumica. Four Ohrid AV and five Strumica players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ohrid AV's next round opponent will be Vardar (#10) in Skopje.
