Here is the weekly review of the top performing FYR Macedonian players, who play currently abroad.

Romeo Travis
Romeo Travis
#1. This week's number one is an experienced international power forward Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron, currently plays in France). He led Strasbourg IG to a victory over the 14th-ranked Cholet Basket (10-18) 85-68 in the French ProA last Saturday. Travis was MVP of the game. He recorded 17 points. Strasbourg IG (19-9) is placed fourth in the ProA. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. It's Travis' first season with the team. This year Travis averages: 9.0ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.4apg, 2FGP: 49.4%, 3FGP: 13.3% and FT: 76.5%. He is a naturalized American. Travis is currently a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Bo McCalebb
Bo McCalebb
#2. Second place goes to former international point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Spain). McCalebb could not help Gran Canaria (18-10) in their last game. Despite his good performance Gran Canaria lost 90-95 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) Baskonia. McCalebb was the second best scorer with 14 points in 25 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. McCalebb has relatively good stats this year: 10.8ppg, 1.8rpg, 3.5apg, 2FGP: 56.9%(103-181), 3FGP: 25.0% and FT: 75.9% in 28 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. McCalebb played for the FYR Macedonian national team in 2015. Apparently he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Marques Green
Marques Green
#3. The FYR Macedonian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard Marques Green (165-82, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Italy). Green managed to help Scandone Avellino to win against the league outsider Vanoli Cremona (7-20) 85-78 in the Italian Serie A in Saturday night's game. He scored 5 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals. Scandone Avellino (17-10) is placed third in the Serie A. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Green's overall stats this season are: 6.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.6apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 43.9% and FT: 96.0%(24-25). He is a naturalized American. Green played for the FYR Macedonian national team seven years ago. Interesting that he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Aleksandar Kostoski
Aleksandar Kostoski
#4. Point guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-88, agency: PEPI SPORT, currently plays in Romania) was not able to help Pitesti in their game against Steaua CSM (17-11) in the Romanian Liga Nationala, despite his very good performance last Thursday. Kostoski was the top scorer with 33 points. He also added 4 passes in 35 minutes. But the sixth-placed Pitesti (11-17) lost 90-105 in Bucuresti to the higher-ranked (#3) Steaua CSM in the Places 1-6 group. This year Kostoski has relatively solid stats: 12.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 5.6apg and 1.4spg in 22 games. He is also FYR Macedonian national team player.

Pero Antic
Pero Antic
#5. Former international power forward Pero Antic (211-82, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to Fenerbahce's victory against the closely-ranked Panathinaikos (19-11) 80-75 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. Antic scored only 3 points. Fenerbahce Istanbul (18-12) is placed fifth in the Euroleague. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. Antic's overall stats this season are: 4.5ppg and 2.6rpg. He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Bulgarian. Antic used to play for the FYR Macedonian national team two years ago.

Vojdan Stojanovski
Vojdan Stojanovski
#6. Guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, also represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Sevilla (8-19) in their game against Real Madrid (20-7) in the Spanish Liga Endesa, despite his good performance in Saturday night's game. He scored 11 points in a mere 19 minutes. But Sevilla lost 76-87 in Madrid to the leading Real. It was Sevilla's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Stojanovski has reliable stats this year: 11.2ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.3apg in 27 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior FYR Macedonian National Team roster.

Elvis Hot
Elvis Hot
#7. U18 international power forward Elvis Hot (197-98, currently plays in Slovenia) couldn't help Crnomelj (6-13) in their game against Branik (4-18) in the Slovenian 2SKL (second division). Hot recorded 9 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. But Crnomelj was defeated 85-81 in Maribor by the one of league's weakest teams Branik (#11). The Regular Season already ended. Hot's overall stats this season are: 4.4ppg and 3.7rpg. He is also FYR Macedonian U18 national team player.

The list of other players, who all have FYR Macedonian passport but never been selected to any of FYR Macedonian national teams:

#1. Cedi Osman (204-F-95, currently plays in Turkey) led Anadolu Efes to a victory over the 14th-ranked Trabzonspor (8-18) crushing them 100-77 in the Turkish BSL in Friday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Osman scored 20 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 29 minutes. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (22-4) is placed second in the BSL. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Osman's fourth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 14.8ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.5apg and 1.6spg in 24 games he played so far. Osman has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Turkish.

#2. Experienced Ivan Todorovic (214-C-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza, currently plays in Spain). Todorovic could not help L'Hospitalet (9-20) to beat CB Granada (21-9). He cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Todorovic scored only 3 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 11 minutes. L'Hospitalet lost 75-83 on the road to the second-ranked CB Granada. It was L'Hospitalet's sixth consecutive loss in a row. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This year Todorovic's overall stats are: 6.9ppg and 5.3rpg in 12 games.

There are only two more rounds left in the Second Stage in Prva Liga. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated MZT Skopje (7-1) on the court of third ranked Rabotnicki on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Rabotnicki 78-70.
