Michael Pounds (191-G-88) scored seven pts for ToPo at that stage. Game stats were very strange. KTP won the rebounds 57-46, had 30 offensive rbs, was shooting 100 times (2+3) in the game (ToPo had 77 shots) and lost the contest! One explanation are FTs. KTP made only 50% and had only 10 FTs in the game, ToPo shot and made 82 percent (23/28) from the charity stripe. In Lahti local YMCA had a few key players on injured list, but that didn't hurt too much, because opponent Kouvot (Kouvola) is tired. Kouvot uses only six, maximum seven players and tonight YMCA Lahti had no difficulties at all to take an important victory. American G Ricky Hickman (190-G-85, college: NC-Greensboro) netted 35 pts (1 - 10/13, 2 - 8/10, 3 - 3/8), C Corey Rouse (203-F-84, agency: Pro One Sports, college: E.Carolina) added 26 pts + grabbed 18 rbs, and F Ray Nixon (203-F-84, agency: Court Side, college: Wisconsin) will be back in Lahti first tomorrow, Saturday. YMCA Lahti had also very narrow material. Team starters scored all points, bench had zero (0) pts. Pyrinto (Tampere) was winning 13th time this season as FoKoPo (Forssa) lost at home by eight 80-88.
