Espoo Team signed another import player. They agreed on terms of contract with Special Jennings (167-G-89, agency: LBM Management). The guard will start her pro career in Finland. Special Jennings graduated from Xavier University this year. She tallied 8.7 points, 5.2 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in her senior season.

Spain started the game with a 13-3 lead and never looked behind in the game. Spain started the game with a 13-3 lead and never looked behind in the game. Finland however looked better in the second period and managed to post a 13-8 rally to reduce to 21:16 result at the halftime. The tempo had dramatically increased in the second half as Spain posted two victories in the third and the last stanzas. Spain won the third frame 18-10 and finished the game with 16-12 rally. Marta Xargay Casademont (181-PG-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 11 points for the winners and Lucila Pascua (195-C-83) notched 7. The hosts started with 29-8 lead in the first frame and of course never looked behind after. The Spanish side added a 19-7 rally in the second frame and went to the lockers with 33 points advantage. Spain posted also 28-5 burst in the third quarter and finished the game with 16-8 rally in the last stanza. They tried hard to post three-digit number at the very end, but were happy to leave the court with 92 points. Alba Torrens (188-F-89) top-scored for the winners with 20 points, while Marta Xargay Casademont (181-PG-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) netted 12. Pascua collected 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Amaya Valdemoro (183-F-76, agency: Josep and Nicolas) also scored 11.
