Catz took another victory over Huima as they won 78-59 (42-30) in Lappeenranta on Wednesday evening. First period was really even and both teams were scoring points very well. However Catz won it by points 21-19. In the second period Catz managed to break away a little bit. Especially in the end of the quarter they made difference. The score ended up in the points 21-11 in the second period. Half-time score was consequently 42-30. The third quarter was even again. Eventually the period was tied in numbers 17-17. In the last period Catz added their lead and made sure that Huima cant get closer. Home team won the period 19-12 and the final score was 78-59. One reason for Huimas tame appearance was the fact that only four players managed to score points. On the contrary the Americans of Catz were in a good playing mood. Kirby Copeland (182-G-85, agency: LBM Management, college: Virginia Tech) scored the game highest 24 points along with Alexandria Anderson (185-G/F-86, agency: Regeneracom Sports, college: Chattanooga) who netted 22 points. Anderson reached also 12 rebounds. In addition Elena Reshetko (184-C/F-86) finished 14 points and 13 rebounds. Kenya Robinson (182-C-70, college: New Orleans) scored 22 points for Huima and took 14 rebounds while Madina Ali (182-F-87, college: W.Virginia) finished 14 points and 14 rebounds. They were backed up by Sanna Jamsen (183-F-79) who netted 12 and Patrice Holmes (178-G, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who scored 11 points.
