Pyrinto sign contracts with Ville Pekkola and Michael Myllyniemi - Jul 28, 2012

Pyrinto are shaping up the roster for the next season. They have secured the services of Ville Pekkola (190-G-89) and Michael Myllyniemi (180-SF-94) for the next season.
Ville Pekkola have extended the contract with the team. He joined Pyrinto at the start of the previous season. The guard notched 1.4 points per game in Tampere. Previously Ville Pekkola had stints with Namika Lahti and Lappeenranta NMKY. He was Finnish League champion back in 2009.
Michael Myllyniemi joined the senior team after the season with Pyrinto Tampere II. The forward averaged 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per game in 1st Division. Michael Myllyniemi also played for U19 Pyrinto team.

Salon Vilpas - Kauhajoki 79-66 Salon Vilpas outgunned Kauhajoki to advance into Korisliiga Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Salon Vilpas. Kauhajoen Karhu managed to win fourth quarter 23-18. Kauhajoki - Salon Vilpas 88-77 Kauhajoki held off Salon Vilpas to force the decisive seventh game in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Kauhajoen Karhu. Salon Vilpas managed to win third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
