There are 23 days untill the new season 2012-13 start and Vilpas (Salo) still searching American players. Vilpas has already sent American Fabian Wilson (201-F/C-88, college: Tarleton St.) back home and this morning Deangelo Alexander left the team and Finland. Vilpas was not satisfied with these two players and no contract was signed. Tomorrow Vilpas Vikings is waiting PF-C Shawn Atupem (200-F-89, college: Mt.St.Mary's) to come for a try out. Atupem played last season in Ireland (UCC Demons Cork, 24,3 ppg - 9,5 rpg) and was named to All-Imports Team -12. Team's American G Marquis Hall (183-PG-87, college: Lehigh) has been tough by now and Vilpas is satisfied with his skills. The season 2012-13 will start on October 3.

He helped them to win the cup and make to league final. Rannikko also played 9 games in Euroleague where he recorded just 2.8ppg and 2.2apg. He also played 25 games in Adriatic League where he recorded 7.0ppg, 1.2rpg and 3.2apg.
