The game without a history. BC Nokia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American power forward Brian Moultrie (198-87, college: Armstr.Atlantic) notched a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Timo Riihela (193-80) supported him with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Even a double-double of 10 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks by American guard Andre Stephens (180-87, college: S.Mississippi) did not help to save the game for Aanekosken Huima. Swingman Sami Kajander (189-83) added 14 points for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-77. Pyrinto II made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Oulun NMKY helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Joni Harjula (189-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 5 assists. Guard Toni Savino (182-92) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Pyrinto II's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Nicholas Pederson (203-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import power forward Eryk Thomas (200-85, college: E.Tenn.St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Pederson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Five Saynatsalon Riento players scored in double figures. American guard Nolan Richardson (188-84, college: Midwestern St.) replied with 27 points and point guard Santeri Latvala (186-91) added 11 points in the effort for Ura Basket.
