Petteri Koponen
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Petteri Koponen (194-88, currently plays in Euroleague). He led his Russian team Khimky to a victory against the closely-ranked Panathinaikos (2-3) 79-67 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Koponen scored 12 points in 22 minutes on the court. BC Khimky Moscow Region (3-2) is placed third in group A. This year Koponen averages: 6.0ppg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 46.2%, 3FGP: 28.6% in the five games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Finnish senior national team.

#2. Second place goes to an international guard Sasu Salin (192-91, currently plays in Adriatic League). Salin contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Szolnok (2-6) crushing them 83-63 in the Adriatic League last Sunday. He scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Union Olimpija Ljubljana (4-4) is placed eighth in the Adriatic League. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Salin is currently first on the league's list of most steals. His overall stats this season are: 7.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 37.9%. Salin is in the roster of the Finnish senior national team.

Rannikko contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Szolnok (2-6) crushing them 83-63. He scored 9 points and added 4 passes (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 21 minutes. It's Rannikko's first season with the team.
