Here is the weekly review of the top performing Finnish players, who play currently abroad.

Gerald Lee
Gerald Lee
#1. This week's number one is an international center Gerald Lee (208-87, college: ODU, currently plays in Adriatic League). He led his Montenegrin team Buducnost to a 2-point victory over the closely-ranked Radnicki KG (5-5) 80-78 in the Adriatic League in Saturday night's game. Lee was MVP of the game. He recorded 20 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 29 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Lee's third season in pro basketball. KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica (6-4) is placed fifth in the Adriatic League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Lee's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season: 11.8ppg, 4.7rpg, 2FGP: 58.8%(47-80) and FT: 63.2% in the 10 games he played so far. Lee is a naturalized American. He is currently a member of the Finnish senior national team. Strangely Lee has never played in Finland.

The third-placed Khimky was crushed 104-81 in Madrid by the leading Real in the group A of Euroleague. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Koponen's overall stats are: 5.4ppg, 1.3apg, 3FGP: 33.3% in the seven games. He is also a member of the Finnish senior national team.
